This review is more or less a freebie for Plextor because they can’t afford to give away this drive for the review. Instead they offered this drive at a discounted price. Which I have no idea what that discount will be. With that fact known, this review will not be affected by their marketing practice. But it will affect my decision on choosing which manufacturer to purchase optical products from, it won’t be Plextor.”
