Mobile audio developer Aliph has announced its new Jawbone Prime noise-canceling Bluetooth headset, promising an order of magnitude improvement in noise reduction, plus a swath of fashionable colors to appeal to even the pickiest fashionistas. Aliph’s original Jawbone headset was released about a year ago to solid reviews; the Jawbone Prime aims to improve on the original with improved noise reduction that takes out an additional 6 to 9 db of background noise while leaving the speaker’s voice strong and clear.

Aliph’s Jawbone Dons New Shades
Aliph’s popular Jawbone Bluetooth headset earned accolades for its stylistic design once with its first iteration, again with a design revision that boasted more colors, and now, even more colors are coming to the second-gen headset. The company added blue and pink shades to its palette on Monday.
Keeping with the slightly eccentric naming of its current colors – Blah Blah Black, Silver Tongue and Goldy Lips – the new shades have been dubbed Babbling Blue and Rambling Rosé. According to Aliph, they were the product of consumer demand.
Technology Chases War Crime Suspects
Hunting those suspected of warm crimes has always been a difficult business, because the suspects want to dig deep to hide. But the War Crimes Watch List (WCWL) is using a mix of the old-fashionedand hi-tech in their search for two men suspected of crimes against humanity in the Sudan, Ahmed Haroun and Janjaweed leader Ali Muhammad Ali Abd al-Rahman, according to a BBC report. The men wereboth indicted by the International Criminal Court last year. Haroun is actually the Sudanese Humanitarian Affairs Minister and use to be the minister incharge of Darfur. It’s believed he help organize the a-Rahman’s Jinjaweed militia, the group responsible for many atrocities in Darfur. The WCWL has pinpointed the last knownpositions of both men with Google Earth and has put out an appeal to Facebook users to help them track the men so they can be arrested. James Smith, chief executive of the Aegis Trust, thegroup with issues the “Wanted for War Crimes” list, said: "Someone, somewhere, knows where they are. They shouldn’t be allowed to live out their last days in luxury. Theirfuture lies in a courtroom. That’s what their victims deserve."
Cingular Lands Jawbone Headset Exclusive
Cingular Wireless today announced an exclusive deal which put’s Aliph’s stylish JawBone Bluetooth headset for mobile phones into the consumer marketplace (barely) in time for the end-of-year holidays.
