Casio Exilim EX-H10 Packs 10x Zoom and 1,000 Shots Per Charge

Casio has formally announced its Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-H10 digital camera, aiming at the high-end point-and-shoot market with a slim profile design that offers high resolution, a big LCD viewfinder display, a wide-angle 24mm lens with powerful zoom, and long battery life—Casio says the camera can take up to 1,000 pictures on a single battery charge.

“The development of the ultra-wide angle 24mm continues Casio’s dedication to creating digital cameras that are packed with innovative features and new technology,” said Casio’s senior general manager for digital imaging Toshiyuki Iguchi, in a statement. “This new feature gives our camera enthusiasts the opportunity to capture their extraordinary moments in a variety of shooting environments.”

MSI Launches Mega Stick 527 MP3 Player

Mega Stick 527 is designed to appeal to the younger audience (as you can tell by its look). What may be the coolest feature of this player is its USB 2.0 connection which you rarely see built into a flash player of this size.

The Mega Stick 527 supports both MP3 and Windows Media Audio (WMA) formats which offer you access to the widest selection of music download services on the Internet. If you do get tired of your playlist, the Mega Stick 527 has an FM radio with 15 preset stations to keep your favorite stations readily available. You can even record from the radio or live sources such as voice dictation or lectures using the player’s built-in microphone.

Archos ships AV300 Cinema-to-go

The AV320 and AV340 – with 20GB and 40GB hard drives, respectively – sport a 3.8in, 320×240-pixel, 24-bit colour LCD. The machine uses MPEG-4 for video for “near DVD” quality playback. It alsosupports AVI, DivX and XviD. Playback resolutions range from 352×288 at 30fps to 640×368 at 25fps – there’s also a TV-out port.

Calling it ‘cinema-to-go’ is stretching the point, we reckon – unless of course it automatically dims the light before the main feature and sells you ice cream.
