Casio Introduces QV-R51 5MP Camera

The QV-R51 will be available at retail in mid-January, MSRP $399.99.

The exceptionally compact QV-R51 boasts a large 2.0” LCD screen and 3X optical zoom, all in a stylish body. Furthermore, it is among the industry-leading digital cameras, with a one-second startup and 0.01 second release time lag* (both values approximate) for quick response, ensuring you never miss a moment. The camera will be on display at Casio’s Booth # 9808.

Sony delivers new Cyber-shot DSC-T1

Adding one more case to the “How’d They Do That?” file, the miniaturization wizards at Sony (known formally as product designers and engineers) took features found on more full-figured digital cameras and squeezed them into a slim, pocket-friendly design no larger than a deck of cards.

Slide the front lens cover down and in just over one second, the Cyber-shot DSC-T1 digital camera’s large 2.5-inch LCD viewfinder comes to life. It occupies roughly two-thirds of the camera’s back-surface area, giving more room to see and show off images at the moment they are captured.

The new QV-R40 has 1-second power up time and industry leading* 0.01-second release time lag** (both values approximate), ensuring you can capture those special moments whenever they happen.

CASIO recorded 0.01-second release time lag mark last year with the release of its high- resolution 4.0-megapixel QV-R4 and 3.0-megapixel QV-R3, eliminating one of the most serious shortcomings for digital cameras up to that time. The ability to record images virtually the instant they happen, along with 3X optical zoom soon made these high- performance models the digital cameras of choice the world over.

Casio introduces new 3.2 megapixel Exilim

The EX-S3 is the latest addition to the EXILIMâ„¢ Series of card-size digital cameras. The new EX-S3 is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel CCD for high-resolution, clear images, and a 2.0-inch LCD monitor screen for composing and viewing images. Everything comes packed in a thin and stylish design.

A lens barrier protects the lens from impact and dust by opening and closing whenever the camera is turned on and off. The case is made of lightweight magnesium alloy, for a body that weighs a mere 72 grams. High-speed startup minimizes the time until the camera is ready to shoot after being turned on and a 0.01 release time lag records the image virtually as soon as you press the shutter release button. All of this means that you are able to record all those special moments whenever they happen.
