Top 10 Wireless Games of 2004

“Cell phones have become so much more than just a communication device,” said Delly Tamer, CEO of LetsTalk. “Wireless games are leading many people to upgrade to more technically advanced handsets and networks. Some market analysts suggest that 120 million people currently play games on wireless devices worldwide, an astonishing number that we think will grow as more and more people upgrade their devices.”

From the press release:

“Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, today announced that Ubisoft’s Montreal studio is currently developing Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® 3 (Working Title), the next installment in the now-legendary Splinter Cell® franchise. Splinter Cell 3 will be shown for the first time ever in a theater-style demo at Ubisoft’s E3 booth – #1046 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is scheduled for a PC launch in late 2004. Details on other platforms will be forthcoming.
