Perhaps that’s why Sportline, the usual maker of rubber-and-plastic-style digital sport watches, has released its new TQR line of heart rate watches, which allow wearers to keep an eye on the old ticker (as the company pronounces TQR) without having to sacrifice style in the process.

The Credit-Card Sized Pocket Pedometer
If Sportline’s pedometer-and-heart-monitor-in-one sports watch doesn’t quite mesh with your idea of style, the company has developed a new electronic fitness tool that’s a little more discrete. The ThinQ credit-card sized pedometer can slip unobtrusively into any pocket or wallet, instead of the more traditional waistband mounting.
The pedometer keeps track of steps taken, distance travelled and calories burned, plus includes a traditional sports timer. It measures only a few millimeters thick and comes in green, orange and blue.
Sportline Creates All-in-One Fitness Watch
To the geek who also likes to get out and exercise, there’s no way to do it except with gadgets in tow. Sportline added to the gaggle of fitness electronics on Wednesday with the Sportline 960 sport watch, the first to integrate both an accelerometer for tracking steps and a heart rate monitor to keep track of your body while you’re at it.
