Toshiba Introduces New Laptops

Tecra M4

The Tecra M4 incorporates the new Intel Centrino Mobile Technology Pentium M processor and the new Mobile Intel 915PM Express chipset. These recent innovations will increase performance and improve wireless interoperability, enabling the Tecra M4 to deliver the maximum level of computing performance, all in an innovative and accommodating form factor.

Another impressive element of the Tecra M4 is the integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 TE 64M (with 64 MB dedicated VRAM) graphics processor unit, which features the advanced video capabilities of NVIDIA’s PureVideo and TurboCache technologies combined with Microsoft DirectX 9 Shader Model 3.0 to deliver brilliant video and 3D graphics for a stunning visual experience.

Toshiba Introduces Multimedia Center Hub

The Multimedia Center Audio/USB Hub enables users of any notebook computer running Microsoft Windows XP Home, Microsoft Windows XP Pro and the recently released Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 to:

— Play music, movies or games in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound from home entertainment systems or external PC speakers;

— Play games in full EAX Advanced HD Surround Sound for a realistic 3D audio experience;

— Listen to MP3 play lists on home stereo speakers by connecting the hub to a stereo receiver via a SPDIF coaxial audio cable;

Toshiba Expands Qosmio Brand Offering

Featuring a 17-inch wide-screen display and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, the Qosmio G15-AV501 offers consumers a unique “four-in-one” experience, eliminating the need for multipleconsumer electronics devices such as a DVD player, PVR, TV and stereo. The Qosmio F15-AV201 offers the same functionality with a 15.4-inch diagonal wide-screen display.

Toshiba MyConnect Plan To Start At $35.95

Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., today announced availability of MyConnect Internet Access Service Plans to customers via www.toshibamyconnect.com, priced at $39.95 per month for unlimited access. The access plans provide notebook users with a single, cost-effective solution for unlimited monthly access at more than 20,000 Internet access points in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

MyConnect simplifies Internet access through wired broadband, Wi-Fi, and dial-up networks with one service, one way to log on, one number to call, and one bill to pay. MyConnect eliminates the need to purchase Internet access from multiple providers, giving users unlimited freedom for work or play at major airports, hotels, and familiar public venues.

Toshiba Officially Launches Qosmio Laptops
