Nokia and cellular provider Alltel today announced that the Nokia 6235i phone was now available to Alltel subscribers. The phone is priced at $69.99 with a two year agreement.
The Nokia 6235i is a bar style design highlighted with chrome accents and a navigation joystick. It gets up to 180 minutes of talk time or 192 hours of standby. Features of this CDMA, Tri-mode phone include a VGA camera and camcorder, FM radio, voice dialing, infrared wireless connectivity and a built-in FM radio.
The D500’s features include a soft-touch slide-up design; an intenna; 80MB storage capacity; a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash; video recording and messaging; Bluetooth, email, and syncML connectivity; 64 polyphonic ring tones; an enhanced voice clarity and speakerphone; a bright 1.9-inch, 262,144-pixel TFT-LCD screen and an MP3 music player.
The 1.3-megapixel camera not only allows users to take pictures, but also gives them creative freedom with the availability of 10 embedded special effects and emoticons. The significantly bright flash and digital linear zoom smoothly catches the best moments to remember.
“Sony continues to expand the realm of musical possibilities with enhancements to its ES line of Super Audio CD components,” said David Bent, marketing director for the Home Audio Products Division at Sony Electronics Inc. “Our new reference standard player raises the bar again for multi-channel and 2 channel audio performance.”
