With this expandable cordless phone with a digital answering system you can Store up to 400 numbers with 100 names and up to 100 sharable caller IDs. Bluetooth¿ capable – compatible with Bluetooth¿ enabled mobile handsets and wireless Bluetooth¿ headsets. 10 handset expandability per system. Handset features a 4,096 color LCD screen to display downloaded pictures and plays downloadable ring tones. Caller ID with call waiting deluxe options.
The Uniden DMX778 offers amazing technology at a value price. Key features include: 4-Handset Expability, Digital Answering System, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Recordable Ring-Tones, Speakerphone.
This product utilizes a microchip to store recorded answering machine messages which gives you clearer recordings and longer life of your answering system. This product also supports caller id, 10 phonebook storage locations and includes an extra handset and charger. From the handsets, you can also access your answering machine messages remotely from other parts of your home.
The new Uniden UIP1868P phone will work with the Packet-8 VoIP phone service. While we were unable to provide a date and more detailed specifics on the Uniden VoIP phone for Vonage, Packet-8 has been a little more forthcoming.
Fry’s, Costco.com and Amazon.com will begin offering the product in July of this year. The UIP1868P will also be available at OfficeMax.com in July and available in all OfficeMax store locations in September. Like the Vonage phone system, the PAcket-8 Uniden phone will come with a corded base station and support up to ten cordless phones. The Uniden UIP1868P will run on the 5.8GHz spectrum and will work with Uniden’s TCX800, TCX400, TCX440, CLX500 and ELT560 flip-design phone accessory cordless handsets. The unit also offers features such as call waiting, caller ID, handset speakerphone, four-way conferencing, call transfer between handsets, DirectLink two-way radio capability and a “do not disturb” setting.
The new Uniden UIP1869V cordless phone comes with a corded base unit and is expandable to support up to ten cordless handsets. What makes the cordless phone unique is the integrated Texas Instruments’ TNETV1060 VoIP gateway chipset which actually allows you to use the phone for answering VoIP calls. The phone will plug directly into your broadband connection or router and basically eliminates the need for a special phone adapter.
The Uniden UIP1869V phone system will use 5.8Ghz wireless technology.
There is no mention as to when the new phone system will be available for purchase, or its price.
Uniden has unveiled a 5.8GHz digital expandable corded/cordless phone with built-in Voice over IP (VoIP) technology at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The UIP1868 is a fully integrated VoIPhome phone system, deploying VoIP capability to a maximum of ten handsets and offering consumers the benefits of VoIP communication in any room of their homes. In conjunction with this productannouncement, Uniden introduces 2005 technology partners Lingo, BroadVoice and SunRocket. Proving interoperability with these Internet phone service providers will allow consumers to use one of theseVoIP platforms with Uniden’s UIP1868 as part of a complete and cost-effective consumer VoIP offering.
In conjunction with this announcement, Uniden and BroadSoft announced that Uniden’s DTA 200 has passed interoperability testing with BroadSoft’s BroadWork market-leading network communicationsplatform. With this proven interoperability, service providers using the BroadWorks VoIP platform can now offer Uniden’s DTA 200 as part of a complete and cost-effective consumer VoIP offering.
With the Uniden DTA 200 and a VoIP subscription, consumers can take full advantage of the low cost and extended features offered by the newest advances in voice communication. The DTA 200 converts standard telephone signals to a VoIP digital signal so they can be sent across a broadband Internet connection, offering consumers a low-cost, easy connection to broadband VoIP phone service.
