Last Saturday a Continental Airlines Boeing 737 ran off the runway at Denver International Airport into a ravine. The resulting fire destroyed the right side of the plane, and 58 were injured, although none killed.
Mike Wilson was on board, and once he was safely back in the airport, he began using the popular micro-blogging site Twitter to relate his experiences.
His first post was: "Holy f—ing s—, I was just in a plane crash."

In the field of gadgets, Apple took top honors with the iPhone and iPod placing first and second, respectively. The rankings of the Ninteno Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 reflected sales, with the Wii slipping in at third on the list, and the PS3 appearing nowhere on the top 10. Other hot tech searches (besides generic terms like “computers” and “cell phones”) included TracFone, XM Radio, PSP and Xbox.
Building on the original supercomputer concept, Virginia Tech has ordered 1,100 Xserve G5 models to replace the current System X models due to the smaller size, stackability, and lower power consumption of the Xserve series.
With the charge in digital guard, Virginia Tech has offered PC Mall a limited supply of original System X G5 models to be sold to the public. Not only can you now own a piece of computer history, but have one of the most powerful computer in the world working for you!
