How about option #4?

I am using Windows Media Center (Vista Ultimate) with the NetFlix plug-in that allows me to watch Netflix's instant download content using my remote control.

It also provides the ability to use extenders and I have two hi-def antennas that receive over-the-air high definition television that I can record. All this just costs me $18 a month (for the Netflix subscription).
