Treadmill desks work and you do not have to sweat. You walk at really low speeds. I made one but am waiting for the TrekDesk so I do not suffer long term ergomomic issues. You can see it at the TrekDesk website by the same name.

This is awesome. I remember seeing a researcher at a college that started doing this with great success. He did it all day while at his computer.

Great for people like myself that might be a bit overweight to still get exercise while in front of the computer.

Forgetting that you are on it just seems silly. I don't know how you would do that. I've never forgot that I was walking down the sidewalk while listening to an iPod, looking at sites, or anything else. It's second nature.

Can you remove the PC easily from the Treadmill if you decide you do not want to walk while you work?

This seems super dangerous to me. I can see people falling or forgetting that they are even on it, and slipping off.

In theory this is a great idea, but I really can't see myself using a machine like this for very long. And 6 hours is WAYY too much usage Rob!

I have noticed that workstations like this are taking off, there are several manufacturers with similiar products.
