I am new to the cell phone craze. I have had my cell phone about a week and I am afraid to use it. I did want to buy some games for it and I figured I would go out on the net and find an etailer like Handango from which I would buy my games. It was only after i purchased my cell phone that I discovered that I had to buy games, wallpaper, ring tones all from the same company from which I bought my phone and it would entail a double whammy. Shopping for these apps uses up minutes. (What???) And sometimes playing the games also uses up minutes! I think, not being msde of money, that I will limit my use to emergency calls and calls I cannot afford to miss. What is the deal? How come we cannot simply buy from an independent vendor and install much like we do PC (or Mac) to handheld?
