Connected to an Xbox wirelessly, it will become a super controller with its own display allowing for head-to-head play, supporting games and the ability to use the secondary display for game information like maps, health and a rearview mirror.

Software Download
http://www.usdownload.net/

Fun article. Here would be speculations as to what Microsoft might do.

Xbox Handheld:

Ditch the UMPC idea here and focus on the game library in Xbox Live Arcade. I like your idea Rob of ditching the loading mechanism and making all of the content transferable from the Xbox 360. Nintendo has shown with their DS that it's not about the technology in the handheld, it's about the game. Graphics do not need to be fancy, but the games need to be fun. And there are plenty of them in the Xbox Live marketplace.

Zunes:

I still think Microsoft will screw these up. I predict they will still focus on MP3 and WMA file-types with no support for any music service other than the Zune Marketplace and Urge. Despite having a WiFi radio in them, I think they will not offer anything unique that will seperate them from Apple.

Besides, I think the MP3 player is on the downward slope. It's about having a cellphone/MP3 player hybrid now...

Apple UMPC:

My thoughts are that this new system will be smaller than their current laptops (due to SSD's now) but still be just as powerful. My guess is that it will still have a keypad built in (Like the Sony U5) and might even have a flip open lid. Would it still be considered a UMPC though? Maybe not, but I don't think that Apple wants to have a product that would overlap their iPhone which technically is what the UMPC should be.
