The 34PW9818 has an amazingly clear picture. Watching ordinary television shows like Seinfeld seem differnt. There's so much clarity that it looks almost three dimentional. Watching analog signals in 4:3 is still better than my old 32" Trinitron even though the image is equivalent to a 29" diagonal set. Near perfect viewing from ridiculous angles that would be impossible without the flat screen technology. This set is a sports fanatics dream!Sound is amazing, too. Rich and full from the provided speakers.I would've given it a perfect 10 based on these areas alone but some of the features that the set has are a bit useless. For instance, the 6 box PIP and split screen doesn't work if you connect through a cable box and the picture is squished and distorted so much so that it's not really a useful option. The set is also big and HEAVY! Plan on needing help to set up and make sure you have a very sturdy TV stand. All in all, though, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it without hesitation.

I am aware and respect the fact, that rewievs are subjective and respect it.
But Bendora, scores 9 and above are for almost super products.
Based on your post, score must be lower. Don't you think?
Unless hidden agenda (promothing models / manufacturer) which would be very unethical, folks make purchases based also on view of other owners.
This carry responsibility. Wish not flame you any which way - please next time pause for a moment before posting scores.
Respectfully,
Mike
P.S.
If you wih to disccus it further, let me know & I would provide you with my e-mai address.

Realmente é uma nova experiência em matéria de TV. Revi vários títulos em DVD e pude desfrutar de uma imagem com excelente contraste, livre de cintilações e com cores muito reais.
Recomendado.

I've got an 36" Pixel Plus, with only one tuner. There is a dubble tuner version out there.
The TV brings back dept in dvd-films, digital movies like Star Wars 2 are a dream come true. I've wachted that film in lot of times, but with my new TV it gave me a whole new experience.

The only drawback I have with the TV that it still cannot generate a true widescreen screen. It still pull's on either sides. I mostly put it in widscreenmode. Sometimes when I don't need subtitels in a movie I go to auto screen.

Overall I love this TV.
The speakers are well put in and powerfull. Noisegate is high before it starts to distort.

I've never seen anything like it. The screen was crisp and mind blowing on the details and colors it puts out. And not to forget the sound out put was superb.

I just taped a picture of my tv next to the word "awesome" in my dictionary...

The only negative comment I have about this tv is that it does not offer the 100hz (would be 120hz in u.s.) technology so many TV's in Europe have.
But then again, no TV available for the NTSC system has this. (NTSC has progressive scan instead).

I have a 36" Wide Version but the technology remains the same. I dont know if the 34" has a component option as my 36" does not. Besides this drawback and maybe PIP this is the BEST TV till date I have seen or used. I will never exchange this set with any other TV and or technology. If you have it then be proud, very very proud.
