Sharp UQ

We haven't had a chance to fully test this product yet, but we've assembled this helpful overview of relevant information on it.

As the premium product arm of Sharp’s new Aquos Q+ line, the UQ brings support for 4K content while staying with a 1080p display. The UQ uses Sharp’s proprietary Q+ scaling technology to make sure the source resolution best matches that of the television. A feat made much easier in part thanks to what Sharp has dubbed Quattron™ technology. A process that increases the subpixels of the display, allowing it to output a finer detail over normal FullHD displays. A plethora of other features are included such as Wi-Fi, SmartCentral Apps , A flash enabled web browser (with split-screen function) and DLNA support grace the Sharp UQ line making it an intriguing device to bridge the current display standards with future media technologies.
