Alice Truong

Former Digital Trends Contributor

I'm a gadgets columnist for USA TODAY, reviews editor for DVICE, and contributor to USA Weekend and others.

Based in San Francisco, I'm a writer lost in a programmer's town, more attuned to the syntax of English than Ruby, Java or C++. Prior to living here, I reported in Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City and most recently, Hong Kong where I (left my heart and) worked as a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal. I've written about a number of subjects, including tech, real estate, politics and personal finance.

I graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with two degrees: a master’s in business reporting and interactive storytelling, and a bachelor’s in print/online reporting and political science.
