1st the good stuff:

Sounds amazing, solid crystal sound

Bad:
Is not always on, so I have to walk and actually turn it on. I have to turn on the device and then the wifi and wait 1 minute for the wifi to be connected - who thought this was a good idea? Is just silly. Administration should be easier, way cheaper devices, have simpler, easier ways to be configured and managed.

This is my 1st B&O Device ever, will really look very well, before buying another.

The sound is fantastic but th wifi capability is poor and the range is limmited. Apart from this the battery performance is poor as well. You can play music for max 4 hours instead of the 8 hours.
So nice design excellent sound, very high price, low battery and wifi performance.

The combination with airplay from Apple is not very stable.
J.S.
The BeoLit12 sound better than any other portable speaker its size. There is no question. Undoubtedly its this performance (down to 35hz!) that draws the higher price tag.

Also, an important clarification: the iphone 4s has compatibility problems with ALL AirPlay devices because the 4s is not fully compatible with AirPlay software. So the compatibility problems has nothing to do with the BeoLit12.

Apple has promised to fix the 4s glitch with the next iOS update.
