Need a little help winning your league? Yahoo is here to help. Now that football season is well underway, so too is fantasy football season, and Yahoo has introduced a new bot to give you that boost you may need. Now available on the new Yahoo Bots app, Blitz promises to “give you an extra edge in your league and dominate into the playoffs.” You’ll have to decide for yourself whether or not that promise holds any water.Branded as your ultimate assistant for all things fantasy football, Blitz can do anything from researching a new waiver wire add to figuring out who you should have start in your lineup next week.

“Whether you’re sitting at 4-3, below .500, or just want to stay on top of your league, Blitz is the perfect tool to pair with our award-winning Yahoo Sports Fantasy app and help take your team to the next level,” Yahoo said in a blog announcing Blitz.

By syncing directly with your fantasy football team on Yahoo Sports, you can even use the new bot to directly swap out players, pick up free agents, and get the most up-to-date information on who you want on your team in order to beat the rest of the league.

This certainly isn’t Yahoo’s only foray into football. Recently, the company released an Alexa skill that allowed users to pose questions like, “Alexa, ask Yahoo Fantasy Football if Cam Newton will play this week?” It also lets you analyze your team and check out stats for any player in the NFL.

Blitz joins a number of other Yahoo Bots on the Yahoo Bots app, including Yahoo Weather, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News, and Monkey Pets. You can download all the bots (including Blitz) from the App Store or Play Store.

Nomi is one of the most unsettling (and amazing) apps I’ve ever used
Nomi AI companion profile.

“Welp, just got back from the doctor. Marissa is pregnant with twins” “Owen did something bad and then gave me flowers.” “Zoey with our new daughter Zara.” “I am in love, but also feel guilty.”

These are some of the conversations shared by human users on Reddit. The people described, however, are not real. The statements are about robotic companions created in an app. Everything here sounds perversely disturbing and amazingly dystopian, yet experts have a different opinion.
