The LG V30 is arguably one of the best smartphones of the year, boasting LG’s huge and beautiful display, Qualcomm’s latest chip, dubbed the Snapdragon 835, and even IP68 water-resistance.

It makes sense, therefore, that you might want to get your hands on the device for yourself. But how can you do so? The phone was initially launched only in South Korea, But is now also available in the U.S.

From now until December 2, customers can get up to a $400 prepaid Visa card when they purchase an LG V30 or LG V30 Plus, along with another LG product from the mobile, home electronics or home appliance product line. To receive the rebate, you can purchase an LG V30 or V30 Plus through your specific carrier or any retail location that carries the device.

Here is everything we know so far about when and where you can buy the LG V30 and LG V30 Plus in the U.S.

Buying an LG V30 unlocked

If you’re willing to pay full price for the LG V30, then perhaps the best thing to do is buy one unlocked if you can. Why? Well, not only does that mean that you can take the phone to whatever carrier you want, but it also means you don’t have to worry about paying extra fees each month — because you’ve already paid those extra fees.

It hasn’t been confirmed if the LG V30 will be available unlocked, but we’ll update this article as we hear more. The phone has been released in South Korea, and its price equivalent comes out to be around $840 for the 64GB model, and $885 for 128GB.

Buying an LG V30 from your wireless carrier

Don’t want to buy it outright or have some credits from your carrier to use? You’re in luck — wireless carriers around the U.S. will offer the LG V30, and while they’ll likely offer slightly different deals and prices, your carrier should be able to set you up with the new device.

Here’s the first thing you need to know: As part of a national promotion with Google’s Daydream virtual reality platform, every LG V30  customer is eligible for a free Daydream View headset and Tap VR Content Bundle. They’re limited to one per customer, and reserving one will require filling out an online form. (We’ll add the link when it becomes available.)

Here’s everything we know about buying the LG V30 on a wireless carrier.

Buying an LG V30 from AT&T

The LG V30 is available for purchase online and in AT&T stores. It’s $27 per month for 30 months ($810), and for a limited time, AT&T is throwing in a free LG V30 for new customers on AT&T Next with DirecTV service. The carrier’s ongoing Unlimited Plus and AT&T Unlimited Choice promotions include free HBO and DirecTV Now for as little as $10 more a month, after a $25 monthly video credit.

AT&T says the V30 will be the latest smartphone to support its 5G Evolution technology, which can achieve speeds up to 1Gbps. It’s live in parts of Austin, Texas, and Indianapolis, Indiana, with more markets being added later this year.

Buying an LG V30 from Sprint

Sprint is offering the LG V30 Plus, an upgraded version of the LG V30, as well as the standard model.

The LG V30 Plus is available for purchase in all Sprint stores. It’s $38 per month for 18 months ($684) and $0 down with Sprint Flex (new and existing customers save $30 when they purchase it online). For a limited time, Sprint is offering Flex customers a second V30 Plus on lease for free.

So what makes it so special? The LG V30 Plus has twice the onboard memory — 128GB — as the standard LG V30. And it comes with LG’s QuadPlay earbuds, which boast frequency-boosting quad layer speaker technology and a fabric cable that minimizes digital noise.

That’s not all. Sprint says the LG V30 Plus is HPUE-enabled (High-Performance User Equipment), meaning it can take advantage of Sprint’s 2.5GHz and 1.9GHz spectrum coverage to provide 30 percent more range and better indoor wireless performance.

Buying an LG V30 from T-Mobile

On T-Mobile, the LG V30 is $80 down and $30 per month for 24 months ($800 total) on T-Mobile’s interest-free Equipment Installment Plan. The carrier says the V30 will be the first smartphone to support its 600MHz LTE, which delivers a stronger cell signal in areas like Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Scarborough, Maine.

The LG V30 Plus will be available starting November 17, but in limited quantity.

Buying an LG V30 from Verizon

Verizon offers the LG V30 for $35 per month for 24 months ($840) on Verizon’s device payment plan. It takes advantage of the carrier’s high-speed Gigabit Class LTE service when it launches later this year.

From now through December 13, you will also receive $300 off the LG V30 — online only — if you purchase the smartphone on the carrier’s device payment plan with no trade-in required. The credit will be applied to your account over a 24-month period.

Buying an LG V30 from U.S. Cellular

U.S. Cellular is offering the LG V30 and LG V30 Plus for $28.32 and $30.20 on 30-month equipment installment plans, respectively. With the purchase of either model, you also receive a Google DayDream VR headset, a bundle of Daydream VR games, and automatic enrollment into the LG V30 Second Year Promise — LG’s limited-warranty program.
