How thankful can you really be during the holidays if you’re running about like a decapitated turkey attempting to prepare the family feast? Here to help you truly revel in the spirit of the season is Martha Stewart’s meal kit company, Marley Spoon. A couple weeks ago, Martha & Marley Spoon launched a new Thanksgiving meal kit that sought to simplify not only classic recipes for this holiday, but also simplify your life. And while November may almost be over, the holidays (and cooking) are not, and Marley Spoon is here to help again with its first ever cookie baking kit.

With Martha’s Holiday Cookie Kit, you’ll be able to bake four of Stewart’s cookie recipes from scratch, convincing your guests that you are a true culinary genius. There’s the brown butter shortbread cookies with cardamom, chocolate gingerbread cookies, double-chocolate peppermint brownies, and noel nut balls. All four recipes come with preportioned dry ingredients, because as everyone knows, baking is all about precision. Be warned, though: You’ll have to provide butter, oil, salt, eggs, and all the baking equipment.

The cookie box builds upon Marley Spoon’s Thanksgiving offering, which contained everything customers needed to create a dinner for between eight and ten dinner guests (and hungry dinner guests at that). Included in the box was a 12- to 14-pound free-range turkey (ours was 13 pounds) from Goffle Road Free Range Poultry Farms (with a brown sugar glaze and pan gravy); ingredients for a classic herb stuffing with dried cherries; mashed potatoes; green beans with shallots and lemon; roasted root vegetables with brown butter, herbs, and almonds; and spiced apple oat crisp.

Also found in the box was a glossy booklet of recipes, which you might as well use for next Thanksgiving as well. Our favorite part of the menu, however, was the leftovers section — after all, what’s better than a turkey sandwich the next day (or week) after the big meal? While it will take you a solid six hours or so to pull together the whole meal (don’t worry, the recipe book also comes with an hourly preparation timeline), we can attest to the worthiness of that effort.

While the Thanksgiving box is gone (until next year), you can comfort yourself with Martha’s Holiday Cookie Kit, which is now available for $39. Cookie recipes produce between 16 and 60 sweet treats, so everyone in your family and friend circle will have something to nibble on. The box will be available for order until January 3, 2018.

Update: Now that Thanksgiving is over, Marley Spoon has debuted the Martha’s Holiday Cookie Box.

How to reset the Nanoleaf Skylight
The Nanoleaf Skylight lighting up a room various shades of purple.

The Nanoleaf Skylight is a unique piece of hardware. Unlike most Nanoleaf products that are quick to install or easy to move and replace, the Skylight is designed as a permanent fixture in your home. Instead of simply plugging it into an electrical outlet, you'll need to hardwire it onto your ceiling – and once it's in place, you'll want it to stay there for years.

However, like all electronics, it's possible for your Nanoleaf Skylight to start acting up. And since there's no easy way to get the entire unit down from your ceiling, you might be wondering how you can quickly solve the problem. Thankfully, Nanoleaf designed a simple way for you to reset the Nanoleaf Skylight without the need to disassemble the entire setup.
