PlayStation Plus just set a new first-party precedent with Horizon Forbidden West

Sony revealed the games coming to PlayStation Plus Premium and PlayStation Plus Extra this month on February 21, and it’s the best month that the service has had since it launched in the summer of 2022. Not only are some great PS1 classics like The Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2 coming to the service, but Horizon Forbbiden West is getting added as well.

Horizon Forbidden West coming to the service one year after launch is a big deal because Sony has been resistant to putting recent first-party PS5 games on its subscription service. While it’s still not adding first-party titles on day one like Xbox Game Pass does, this is possibly our first indication of how Sony will handle adding its own games to the subscription. It’s not the only PS4 and PS5 title coming to the service this month either, as the following strong lineup of games was also confirmed to be coming on February 21.

That PlayStation Plus Extra lineup of games alone would make this one of the best months for Sony’s subscription service ever, but even the oft-ignored Classics Catalogue of PlayStation Plus Premium is getting some love this month. Critically acclaimed PS1 RPGs The Legend of Dragoon, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, and Wild Arms 2 are being added with the up-rendering, rewinds, quick save, and video filter features available for all PS1 games.

PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers finally have a lot to look forward to this month. Hopefully, Sony can keep this positive momentum going. All of these games will be added to the PS4 and PS5 subscription services on February 21.

As such, you may find yourself wanting to reallocate your skill points at certain times, especially during the first half of the game when you have limited resources for getting new skills. Below, we'll tell you how to respec in Another Crab's Treasure.
How to respec
You won't be able to assign skills or respec them until you've advanced the game to the point where you reach the Moon Snail's Domain. You'll see an option to "Refund Skills" when speaking to the Moon Snail. However, this will cost you a Shark Egg, which is an exceedingly rare item that you can't get until you've progressed a little bit further into the game.

The easiest way to get a Shark Egg is to head over to the Prawn Shop in the lower section of New Carcinia, which is the game's main hub that you'll reach after defeating a few main bosses and moving the story forward a bit. Speak to the owner there to purchase up to two Shark Eggs for 2,000 microplastics each. Beyond the Prawn Shop, these elusive items can be found in a few clam shells throughout the game, and they'll more rarely drop from elite enemies — though the drop rate appears to be very, very low.

There won’t be a new Jackbox Party Pack game this year; instead, we’ll be getting a mature-rated game titled Jackbox Naughty Pack.

Jackbox Games made this announcement during Monday’s ID@Xbox Showcase with a short comedic trailer. Not much is being revealed about this package just yet, but Jackbox Games is confirming that this will be the studio's first M-rated title. It will contain three raunchy games for players to pick between that are “full of spicy surprises and maybe even some familiar faces.” Jackbox Party Pack games typically feature five games, so hopefully, these Jackbox Naughty Pack games have more heft to them to make up for there being fewer of them.
