If you want to catch a nocturnal predator in action, you’re going to have to see like one. And with the FLIR Scout TK, you may be able to do just that. This pocket-sized thermal vision monocular gives explorers of all interests the ability to see like never before, providing sight at night and in lowlight conditions. Rather than being blinded by darkness, you’ll be able to take stock of your surroundings and actually see people, objects, and animals from more than 100 yards away. Better still, you’ll be able to capture these moments with the monocular’s photo and video capabilities — so whatever your need is for nighttime vision, prepare to be impressed.

While the device may have been designed for the outdoorsmen and women, there’s no end to the possible uses for the Scout TK. Because it’s pocket sized and weighs a mere 6 ounces, you’ll be able to take it along no matter where you go. However, don’t be misled by its small size. Thanks to the Flir’s hardy design, the monocular will keep up with your active lifestyle, and can hold up to bumps and splashes alike. And while you’ll get the pleasure of a first-hand experience, you can also share your images and videos with others via the Scout TK.

Best of all, the camera is as easy to use as it is powerful. With the range of a football field and four buttons, you can operate the Scout TK with just one hand, and can choose from a number of different video color palettes for the best possible viewing experience. It also reamins operational at both very cold and warm temperatures (-4°F to 104°F), allowing the Scout TK to help with night vision regardless of where you might be. You can even stay out all night given the battery on the camera lasts more than five hours.

Of course, even if you’re not planning on going out into the woods for a night hike, the Scout TK can still come in handy for security purposes. You can use it to keep an eye on your property, look for intruders, and to generally stay alert when the light begins to fade. So if you need to see better in the dark, do it with Flir’s Scout TK. It’s slated for release later this year at $600.

How to transfer photos from an iPhone to an iPhone

We all love making memories, and a great way to collect those memories is to take a quick snap of a gorgeous landscape, a party in full swing, or a particularly incredible meal. The Apple iPhone now also adds a location to your pictures, meaning it can collate those images together into a location-themed album, or show you all the shots you've taken in a specific location. It's a fun little addition, and it's one that adds a lot of personality to the Photos app.
