The creators of Better Call Saul don’t give their loyal fans enough credit. It was revealed on the talk show Talking Saul after last night’s season two finale that a clue about the upcoming season was hidden in the episode titles — and fans have already found it.

First off, there are spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched the season, or the finale, yet. For those who have, you’ll know that there have been several character crossovers between the AMC show and the series for which it serves as a prequel, Breaking Bad. In addition to Bob Odenkirk’s character, Jimmy McGill (a.k.a. Saul Goodman), and Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), we’ve also seen memorable characters such as Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz), Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis), Nacho (Michael Mando), Lawson (Jim Beaver), and “The Cousins” (Daniel and Luis Moncada) rear their often ugly heads again in this series. And, according to the clever clue, kingpin Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will show up for season three.

So what sneaky Easter Egg did creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould cleverly plant to reveal this? If you take the first letter of each of the 10 episode titles in the season, it becomes an anagram for “Fring’s Back.” As confirmed on the talk show, that was no accident. He is coming. And Gilligan and Gould expressed their delight and surprise that they didn’t even have to drop a hint about the anagram’s existence before curious fans found it.

If you watched Breaking Bad, you know exactly who Fring is and what he’s up to. But it remains to be seen how he may cross paths with Mike and Jimmy. There are theories that he may have been the one who left the puzzling note on Mike’s windshield that simply read “don’t,” implying that he should walk away from his plan to off Hector. The fast-food king in the bright yellow uniformed shirt, after all, is always one step ahead. Well, almost always.

Did you figure it out? Check out the episode titles on the show’s IMDB page. For the record, they’re “Switch,” “Cobbler,” “Amarillo,” “Gloves Off,” “Rebecca,” “Bali Ha’i,” “Inflatable,” “Fifi,” “Nailed,” and “Klick.”

Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan as Colin and Penelope looking at each other in Bridgerton.

There aren't many new romance shows on Netflix right now, but there are new seasons of some popular shows, and that's the next best thing! Netflix's breakout romantic drama, Bridgerton, is back for season 3 on May 16. But since that season is being split into two halves, you'll have to wait until June 13 to see the remaining episodes.

The other good news for romance fans is that Netflix has now added the sixth season of Starz's time-traveling romance drama Outlander. There was a two-year gap between the premiere of Outlander season 6 on Starz and its streaming debut on Netflix. That may mean Outlander season 7 part 1 could come to Netflix in 2025.

if you have to watch one netflix show this may 2024 stream archer featured

Fans of romance movies and shows on Netflix are probably locked into watching the first part of Bridgerton season 3, while drama lovers may gravitate toward A Man in Full, which is currently one of the most popular shows on Netflix. Animation is also well-represented this month with a new season of Blood of Zeus and the premiere of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. But our choice for the one Netflix show this May that you have to stream is the animated spy comedy Archer.

Adam Reed created Archer for FX in 2009, and the series has had remarkable staying power. Through 14 seasons, Archer has amassed 145 episodes. This series has been streaming on Hulu for years, but now it has a chance to attract an even wider audience on Netflix, which is no stranger to adult-oriented animated shows like Big Mouth and BoJack Horseman.
