I bought this so we could bring it camping and put pix in our travel book to records our adventures. I did a lot of research first. Finally picked this one.
Pros:
-prints look really good (see below for troubleshooting)
-the software is easy to use and make some really solid edits on the pictures. I edit almost every photo- you’ll get a sense as you print more what edits improve the final photo.
-adding text or stickers (which I rarely do) is easy. And you can change color, rotate, enlarge, etc easily. Very flexible.
-I only use the rectangle picture stickers but it can do small round ones. The pictures stick really well. They feel solid- not flimsy.
-small size is super easy to carry with me.
Cons:
-you can get small lines on some prints. I found that by carefully taking the paper out (don’t touch anything but the edges) and pressing them flatter, this helps. Also some of the editing might help too.
-sometimes the paper get curled and won’t pass through the printer. Do the above and it works. Or sometimes I’ll turn the unit upside down and it prints.

Hey yall!! @YanaGalaninPhotography here on my boyfriend's account leaving a review lol!Just wanted to leave some feedback on this product, now that it's in my hands and I have been able to play around with it.First thing first, full disclosure... I bought this under my photography company but intended to use it for a specific project for my body paint company @HausSparkle. Currently I am making a LOOK BOOK and I thought this would be the cutest way to create something that would fit my branding aesthetic and also allow me to continue to add on the go in the future.I purchased a black 8x8 book and a set of bada$$ metallic markets as well as some sparkly stickers and got to work (See pics) My idea was that I would be able to create on the go and add to this book over time with more bookings and assignments, allowing me to show off my portfolio but also communicate to people what my style is and how much each look costs. I am sooo happy I got this pocket printer because it is perfect for this intention.FYI, I watched many videos on product reviews for this type of pocket printer as well as others on the market for comparison. I like to consider myself a thorough researcher. I want to know anything and everything about that product segment and what else is out there before I make a call.I decided to go with this because of a few reasons.1. It's Bluetooth and not wifi dependent.2. ZINK (zero ink technology)3. The size and ease of use.4. The sticky prints!!!5. The prints are one of the more affordable options breaking down to .25 cents- .50 cents a print.6. I already use canon products, which I am very happy with.7. I bought this for my daughter for her 12th birthday, and she absolutely loves it!! The paper comes out to about 50c each pic but having no ink costs really makes it worthwhile! She can earn more paper with her chores and allowance. The print quality is decent enough for what she is using it for and I was so happy with it, but if you are looking for a professional perfect print job then this is not for you, the colors are not perfect! She originally wanted a Polaroid camera which can get pricey, but she already has a great phone camera so she really only needed a way to print her pics. The app allows her to decorate the pics before she prints and make cute social media style stories on them. We went on vacation and she is making a photo album and printing pics as memories. This is why I got it for her… too much ends up staying on our phones, and it’s nice to print things out! It is so easy to use that she worked it out alone and doesn’t need my help at all. I’d definitely recommend this printer!

I bought the Canon Ivy over other mini printers because I wanted to print on sticky back paper. So far it works great! The set up was very quick and the printer itself is small and lightweight. You can print while it's charging (I was too impatient to wait until it was fully charged).
Because most reviews for mini printers make a comment about color, I decided to print out a test page to see how the Ivy handles color and resolution.
1) SWOP Colors: print out well.
2) CYMK and RGB: most colors print out well until you get to below 60% saturation.
3) Gradients are less smooth on the printed test page.
3) Grayscale: 5-55% shows up with a lavender cast.
4. Resolution Test: blurry below 1.0 pt and the text overall is not as crisp.
Overall, I think the printer is great for what I wanted: documenting memories and making cute stickers.
