Overview: The Sony WF-C700N Truly Wireless In-ear Headphones feature Noise Canceling technology to reduce ambient noise and immerse you in your music. With Bluetooth 5.2 you'll get solid wireless performance with low latency. The WF-C700Ns have an IPX4 rating for moisture resistance, so you'll know they are protected from splashes and sweat. The headphones include a protective Charging Case, charging cable, and three pairs of silicone rubber ear tips. The headphones come in environmentally-friendly packaging which contains no plastic, reducing the environmental impact of the product.

Truly Wireless Design: The WF-C700N includes separate left and right ear buds that sit securely in your ears. The Bluetooth pairing, music playback, and phone controls are located on the outside of each ear bud. When using the Sony Headphones Connect app, you can control many more functions and features on your device.

Driver: Each ear bud has an advanced 5mm dynamic driver with neodymium magnets for excellent sound quality. The larger drivers help provide a more powerful and punchy bass response.

Supplied Ear Tips: The in-ear headphones come with three pairs of hybrid silicone rubber ear tips (large, medium, small). The proper fit of the ear tips into your ear canals maximizes the audio performance. These ergonomically-designed ear buds conforms to most ear shapes to fit securely and comfortably in your ears.

Noise Canceling/Ambient Sound: The Noise Canceling function reduces ambient noise for a more immersive listening experience. Microphones on the outside of the ear bud pick up the sound around you, such as airplane noise, indoor air conditioning, or traffic noise.. An out-of-phase signal is generated to cancel out the ambient noise, so all you hear is your music. There are times when you want to hear ambient sound so you can maintain awareness of your surroundings. The Ambient Sound Mode uses the same microphones to pick up ambient noise, and instead, amplifies it through the headphones. You can customize the Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound Mode settings in the Sony Headphones Connect app, and toggle through the features using the button on the left earbud.

Adaptive Sound Control: When activated in the Sony Headphones Connect app, Adaptive Sound Control adjusts the noise canceling function automatically. The headphones detect the wearer's actions (running, walking, sitting still) and apply the correct measure of noise canceling for the situation.

Bluetooth 5.2: The WF-C700N has Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless listening from your smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth music player. The Bluetooth chip transmits sound to the left and right ear buds simultaneously to ensure a more stable connection and lower latency. Compatible profiles include A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP, with SBC and AAC codecs. The convenient Multipoint feature lets you pair with two Bluetooth devices at the same time, and easily switch between them. Bluetooth wireless range is approximately 33 feet (10 meters). The headphones can be paired with up to 8 devices, but only switch between two at a time.

Single Earbud Use: You can remove only one earbud from the charging case and use it by itself. Both left and right channel audio will be mixed to mono and heard in the active earbud. If you use only the right unit, you will be able to control your music playback. If you use only the left unit, music playback will need to be controlled on the source unit. Either unit will be able to answer incoming phone calls.

Onboard Controls: There is a single control on the outside of each earbud. The left earbud button lets you switch from Noise Canceling to Ambient Sound Mode to Off. The right earbud controls music play/pause (one press), skip to the beginning of the next track (two presses), skip to the previous track or beginning of current track (three presses), or to activate the voice assistant (long press). For incoming phone calls you can answer with two presses on either earbud, disconnect a call with two presses, or reject an incoming call with a long press.

Voice Assistant Function: The Sony WF-C700N lets you use your favorite phone-based voice assistant, including Google Assistant (Android) and Siri (iOS). You can access your Voice Assistant by pressing and holding the button on the right ear bud for about 2 seconds.

Sony Headphones Connect App: The Sony Headphones Connect app gives you control over the sound of your headphones right on your smartphone or tablet. You can tailor the sound to your personal preference. You can choose from multiple presets based on the genre of music you're listening to. There's also a Custom EQ which lets you create your own presets. Whenever a software update becomes available, you will be notified and you can download the update from the app. The Sony Headphones Connect app is compatible with iOS devices (iOS 11.0 or later) and Android devices (version varies with device), as well as Windows (10/11) and Mac (macOS 11 or later).

DSEE: Sony's Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) helps to restore high frequency sounds which are lost in the digital compression process to give you a more authentic sound from your digital music tracks. The detail and richness of the music are restored, so your music sounds closer to the original recording. Music is played back in CD sound quality. You can set up the DSEE function using the Sony Headphones Connect app.

360 Reality Audio: The WF-C700N is 360 Reality Audio-certified which turns stereo listening into an immersive, spherical surround experience. When listening with headphones, music plays inside your head. With 360 Reality Audio, the music sounds like it's surrounding your head from multiple points. You can experience 360 Reality Audio with your smartphone, the ear buds, and a subscription to a compatible music streaming service.

Rechargeable Battery: The Sony WF-C700N Truly Wireless headphones are equipped with 3.85-volt Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries in each ear bud to power the Bluetooth, Noise Canceling, and audio functions. The ear bud batteries are charged in the included charging case, which includes it own 5V rechargeable battery. The ear buds cannot be charged without the case. The ear buds require approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge, while the case takes about 3 hours. A 10-minute quick-charge provides enough power for approximately 60 minutes of playback time. The batteries charge via USB using the included USB-C cable. With a fully charged battery in the charging case, you can charge the ear buds one additional time for a total of about 15 hours of listening, depending on the sound mode and codec used.
