They can do it all and they're Sennheisers!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What are you looking for in pair of headphones? Oh yeah? Well these can do that too! Of course we all have our unique opinions and these are mine... They're stylish so they look good on your head. They are very well built which is better than about 80% of the other bluetooth headphones available. They have REAL leather on the headband and earpads, unlike most of the competitors in this class. Everything on this pair feels high end and a cut above the rest. The comfort is excellent as well. Connectivity is great, lots of options to get sound into them. Of course you have bluetooth, you have the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm locking cable for hard wiring, and you also have the ability to connect with the USB to your device for digital audio. I did not notice a lot of difference between the connections, just a little warmer sound coming directly from the cables. The highs are very good, nice sparkle. The mids are where this set shines, vocals and mid bass sounds excellent. The lows are not overpowering but present, these can reach down low but it's not overly boomy. I can hear a signature Sennheiser sound here which I like a lot. Noise cancelling is good, not the best but good. Now I personally don't care as much about that feature as I do others so I would like the option to disable it, unfortunately you cannot here, but since it's unobtrusive I do not mind and won't take anything away from it for this. Basically, if you feed this set a clean signal of high quality audio then you will be happy, if you feed them trash you might not like these... garbage in, garbage out right?! These are some of the best I've heard so far in the price range and I think overall they compete favorably. At $200 (got them on sale for half price), they are an absolute must have in my opinion. I personally do not think you can find a better bluetooth set for $200 or less all things considered, now that opinion changes a little when you start talking non-bluetooth headphones because headphones like the AKG K371's exist.

Great headphones and comfortable! Worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have quite a few headphones and I have been working on getting some wireless headphones that I can get the most out of. I think there is a fair amount to say about these but to cut to the chase, these are solid in construction (they feel like they cost this much), even though I have a large head, they don't press on my to make it uncomfortable, the noise canceling is great, the sound is nice and clean (balanced and without lots of bass), and they can be used as lined headphones if you run out of battery. Overall as great as expected. I like them over my Bose and aster and Dynamics.

Great sound at nice value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am relatively new to higher end blue tooth audio components. I am very pleased with the reproduction produced by these headphones and at a reasonable price. Pleasing bass and higher frequencies without using higher volumes. Good seal around ears without discomfort. Good value and as pleasing as older over the ear wired headphones I used in my younger days.

Sennheiser or Bose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these and the Bose QC35's planning on returning the pair I liked the least. On first impression I was certain I would like the Bose better, but the M2's really grew on me. The Bose are by far better at noise cancelling, but that is a difference that is really only noticeable when no sound is coming through them. With music on at 50% volume I could not notice a difference whether in a busy waiting room, around typing keyboards in the office, or just sitting on the couch with the TV on or the vacuum running. I had no issues pairing both sets to multiple devices and switching back and fourth. I never reached near a dead battery on either set and both perform well for taking calls. The deciding factor for me was the everyday comfort of the M2's and the superior sound quality. This is not to say the Bose sound is bad, but the M2's just sounded richer. When listening to the same songs at the same volume the M2's always just sounded a little better. Also for me the Bose didn't quite feel right on my head they were comfortable, but somehow felt a bit foreign to wear. Lastly, the pressure sensation on my ears that Is expected with ANC headphones did not feel as pronounced with M2's. My recommendation is to try both for a few days to see which really meets your needs best. For me the Sennheisers were the best choice.

Great audio, really great noise canceling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones have been fantastic. The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling works too well. I never hear people come into my cubicle at work, even at lowest volume music playback, which is great and can be bothersome as people think I'm jamming out to some tunes. The "ear pressure" from the active noise cancellation is much less than my previous testing of headphones, to a point were I genuinely didn't notice it after 5 minutes. You can bypass it if you wire directly to your audio device, though that does defeat the point of Bluetooth, but it does extend the battery life. Speaking of, battery life has been really good and I've listened to music at work for hour long stints for about a month before needing a charge. 3 charges in and I'm very pleased. The fit is very comfortable and easy to adjust be ear muffs. The device feels very high quality and still decently light weight.

Amazing sound and comfort
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to rep Sennheiser in the early 1990s so have a little bit of a bias. Having said that. These are a wonderful set of headphones. Good wireless range, can leave Pandora running on phone in kitchen and roam the house and not lose connection (780 Sq ft) Ear pads are extremely comfortable and long wear times don't give you ear fatigue. The sound canceling is great- I can sit next to my 10 yr old daughter and not hear her "talking" to other players when she's in a Battle Royale. Bluetooth switches between phone calls and other apps seamlessly. I got these on sale and for the price hands down the best pair of ear candy out there. Sennheiser makes in my opinion the best sounding headphones out there. Clean, crisp, clear audio in a luxurious package.

Excellent Headset - but it's 3 years old
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are awesome sounding headsets. * The battery lasts a full day * Noise canceling is better than Bose * Sound is awesome - again, better than Bose - the range seems much greater as I hear more highs and lows than the QuietComfort Just know that these things are 3 years old (model wise, they're still current). This will come into play when you realize there's no app to customize the headset. The old app was discontinued and the new app doesn't support this "older model." If this is an issue for you, don't get this one, get the M3. It's not a problem for me...I liked getting high quality headsets about $100 less than the next model (M3) These are super easy to use. NFC pairing works and they sound awesome on my Yamaha piano. You can even use them with an XBox if you get an Andrioid cable (not Apple)

Q: QuestionCan I use these just as a noise cancelling device? No music, TV, movies? Will they work, with a snoring partner for example?
Asked by Elmo.
- A:Answer They cut down on the sound, but aren't going to eliminate it, plus can't imagine sleeping in them, even though they are extremely comfortable. If you aren't concerned with comfort and just looking to block sound, recommend visiting a firearms shop and testing out what they've got.

Q: QuestionAre these headphones support High Resolution like Sony's?
Asked by Katruch74.
- A:Answer I replaced a pair of Sony’s and I liked these much more that the Sony’s. The Sony’s did have a much longer cord. The Sony's were wired and the Sennheeiser are both wired and Bluetooth. The Sony’s cushions fell apart and were difficult to find to replace until recently. I don’t see any wear from the Sennheiser’s at this point.

Q: QuestionWhy is it when I connect to my windows it sounds muddy in the back and when I plug it in with the aux it only plays on one side?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I'm not sure about the muddy sound but regarding the aux only playing in one ear. It's because you didn't plug it all the way in on the headset. I believe you have to twist and push for it to go all the way in. Check out your manual for instructions. It happened to me too.

Q: QuestionAre these earcups large enough for comfortable use?
Asked by nitgoz.
- A:Answer I find them very comfortable. I have larger than average ears and often find that headphones aren’t the most comfortable, but the way these are cushioned and sharped they are exceptionally comfortable. I recently wore them for the entirety of a six hour flight and had zero discomfort.
