Doesn’t close well which interferes with sleep mode
I bought this case because I had one like it before that I loved. I was careful to make sure I chose one that matched my last one as perfectly as I could with the exception of the color. This case arrived on time, and is super cute. It has the pencil holder and a pocket just as I wanted. The case does have dents in the cover that I expected to disappear after a few hours or a day, but they are still there. This is weird but in no way a deal breaker. The small issue I have is that although the case is the right size, the cover has to be stretched to stay closed. At first I thought after stretching it to close and placing it front cover down (applying natural pressure to keep it closed) that it would be fine after a couple of days. However, this is still an issue. If I don’t take the extra step to close as mentioned above, the iPad will not go into sleep mode and my battery runs down without me realizing it. I like the ProCase cover, but I’m sad the quality is not the same. I’ve added pictures to help explain.

VERY impressed with the quality of this case/stand for my iPad Pro 9.7! I was a bit hesitant to order this item,looking at some previous reviews, but whatever challenges may have existed with the product prior to this, the company seems to have responded and made improvements! (Product is GREAT my SECOND time around almost 2yrs later, after rough use!)

The leather is beautiful, soft, without odor(!); the exterior color, while not navy blue, is a very functional medium gray-blue, that has grown on me quickly. The interior, as shown in online photo is a light sand color, with three matching blue " "stop strips" to keep the screen in an upright position while using. And I find these strips much more reliable to prevent a slide, than a previous cover with grooves the screen sat in (these collapsed over time and the iPad just flopped around!).

The magnetic closures seem to be completely adequate to close the cover tightly, when not in use, and do not "show through" the interior leather cover, as shown in a previous buyer's review. The cut out for the camera is great. and the Velcro tab, inside to open and close the "frame" that you slide the iPad into, is incredibly strong, holding the iPad snuggly where it needs to stay.

From experience I am confident that the cover adds enough "padding" around the corners, that I won't worry about a fall of off a desk, my lap, while walking with it (grandkids :-) ) This case/stand is making me very happy because it is also very soft to the touch, which I feel is important since I use my iPad Pro A LOT! (Oh, I didn't mention the "bonus pocket" on the front cover for notes, a couple of business cards, OR the charger cord! The pencil loop, on the side of the cover, AND INCLUDED pen/stylus is another bonus!!

This is a very very high quality case for the 9.7" iPad Pro well put together out of quality materials and a fine fit.. But they have used a loop of(well color matched to the red leather though it is) elastic fabric strap and I know from experience that this wil lose its elastic ability in time and become to slack to keep hold of the Apple Pencil. In the future (about 2 years I estimate based on past usage of this elastic fabric ribbon) I will have to pick out the stitches that hold it and stitch in a proper leather loop. I expect they have done this for production efficiency but a loop of matching leather would have been better...
So would I buy it again? You bet it is a high quality case at a great price and the red sets off the black of my iPad Pro
Revising to say that the first case lasted 3 years before wear made it look scruffy I contacted the maker and they gave a good maker credit of $10 that I thought was so fair I bought another identical one in red it is now bout 27 months old and in fairness as it is now a 5 1/2 year old iPad Pro it has had harder use. But it is now very very scruffy indeed with areas of read leather peeling from the inside strips the pad uses when propped open and the corner where the logo is pressed has broken down completely. This product looks great and is a bargain for a color leather case even when used for hours every day but only for about 2 years in heavy use the company stands behind it in an amazing way for its price point.

I have an IPad 9.7Pro and my last case (Logitech) was absolutely horrible! It was a keyboard case and the keys kept falling off!

This ProCase is the way to go! Sturdy and has 3 ridges so I can lay it at different angles as I am watching things on my tablet. Solid purchase for the price!

I've only had the ProCase Leather case for my iPad Pro 9.7" for one week but like the look and fit of the case. The case has a wide enough margin around the edges to offer some protection if the iPad gets dropped. The cut-outs allow access to the camera, speakers, lighting port and volume rocker. The case looks like real leather with a black exterior and nice buckskin tan interior. With the iPad Pro 9.7" in the case, the ProCase Leather Case is 13/16ths of an inch (21mm) thick, at its thickest point. The case is 6 15/16" wide (176mm), excluding the elastic pen holder; with an Apple Pencil in the pen holder, the case is 7 5/16" wide (186mm). The case is 9 9/16" tall.
The front pocket is a nice touch but it is very tight and could only hold something 8 3/8" long and 1/8 of an inch thick.
I was searching for a case that had a pen holder that would keep the iPad Pro's $100 Apple Pencil close and safe. This case has a piece of elastic sewn to the outside that holds the Apple Pencil nicely and even came with a nice pen with a capacitor tip; however, when the case is closed the Apple Pencil (or pen) is not enclosed inside the case and tends to hang up on things when I slide the iPad and case in my backpack. I would LOVE the same case made 3/8ths of an inch wider with an Apple Pencil holder (with a built in tip guard and storage for the lightning adapter) along the inside (left or "binding" side) of the case; that way the case would wrap around and protect the $100 Apple Pencil. If the case were 3/8ths of an inch wider it would be the same width as my old iPad 2 case and still fit in most pockets designed for tablets with cases.
