Rise of the Tomb Raider is a one year timed exclusives
There is a 360 port nobody should buy it though the game wasn't developed for old hardware
I understand gamers still loving there 360 but,
Rise of the Tomb Raider is for next gen hardware
This is my Halo 5 been looking forward to this title for a while
you'll need 20.7 GB of hard drive space plus the backward 360 compatibility this week now is the time to get a 2-3 TB external hard drive
After having some time to put into this game it's safe to say this is the game of the year
There is nothing like this across any platform i've only put 4hrs. into the game I'm 16% complete so it's epic in size and scale
Graphics: close to flawless this is true next gen this is the Best looking game I've played since i got the console
I'd go as far to say it's the best true next gen title in the 8th generation of consoles to date
It's stunning and beautiful all around the detail is ultra hq
Lara Croft and her world looks like art in motion! Everything is alive
The Controls are perfect and streamlined for the "newer" xone controller
If you played the previous game you'll feel at home it's easy to pick up and play
The Gameplay: is cranked up to 11 Crystal Dynamics mimicked other games such as Far Cry 3 (The hunting and crafting element is bigger but, will take a little to get use to) also elements of the original Assassins Creed are here too Lara can now climb and do jumping like in A.C. but, it's more realistic some jumps you think i'm not gonna make you barley connect then have to tap X to hold on and not fall then climb up! The gameplay once again is tight and everything works extremely well...
you can play the game run and gun or stealth I've done mostly stealth cause i'm so early on into the story
I'm not a massive fan of stealth games but, playing off this way is really enjoyable and fun
The boss battle with the bear might sound weak it's crazy mostly due to the way everything is structured it all feels organic and real
the animation and sound helps too! The only real drag is hunting and killing animals to survive! I know it's a game but, the way the deer fall to the ground after you take one down is realistic and jarring! I don't get-off on killing animals in real life or in games.......
Even killing the bear is really dark and a little sad
Audio: AAA+++ the score fits everything happening all the sounds are crisp
Camilla Luddington lends both her likeness and voice to Lara Croft she is phenomenal
She will forever be known as Lara Croft she was born to be this character! Her v/o work is award wining good! she sells every word she says
Charles Halford v/o as Konstantin (works so far so good he has a strong voice and it fits the character the irony his name is Konstantin in this game but, he co-stared in NBC's Constantine!
the DTS 5.1 audio don't hurt either (Consumer Tip anyone who don't have a proper Home Theater surround sound system you're missing out you must have a HQ home sound system to get the most out of games like this)
If you have a XBOne gets this title I'm sure it will be amazing and much like the Tomb Raider re-boot it'll blow your socks off
If it has any score less then 4 Stars then they are just teenage gamers marks that have bought into the "whole" made-up console war
Gaming trolls are not helping gaming but, what do i know i have a full time job and been playing consoles since the Atari 2600 up until now
No matter where this title ends up in a year it'll be a must have on every platform it's on

P.S. Is one game worth buying a new/2nd next gen console no but, the XBoxOne has Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct, Halo 5, Fable Legends (which is gonna be free to play) along with other massive exclusive IP's coming next year
Rise of the Tomb Raider is amazing and a must play for all gamer's for those who wanna be juvenile fanboys and wait a year! Good luck a year is a long time just to be a fanboy shill to a console war being pushed by the gaming media and gaming console makers
all these gamers trolling need to grow up already I hope they are all teenagers still in high school
If any of these are grown men they are really pathetic and need real help or a real job!

I started with the previous Tomb Raider definitive edition and loved the look and feel of the game. The story was well crafted and gameplay on par as well.As I booted up Rise of the Tomb Raider, I felt very familiarity placed back into the world of Tomb Raider from the previous installment. This time however, Lara Croft is much more battle hardened which is a great transition as she goes from timid to fearless over the course of 2 games. Rise is still compelling with its story, offers great environments to explore, and more puzzles to solve. The gameplay is not enhanced from the previous game, however it still feels good, but it does not make it the highlight of the game.I played action adventure games as a kid all the time, now in my 20's I struggle to find an adventure game that keeps me playing. Tomb Raider has brought my childhood nostalgia to the forefront and I loved every moment of the game. Please get this if you want to play a well crafted, story and environment driven game. You will be pleased!
