    I had trouble finding a place in my yard where this device would receive the WiFi signal from my router. The original location where I wanted it was on the opposite side of the house from the router, approximately 60 ft and multiple walls away. It did not work in that location. The new location (pictured) is about 39 feet away from the router with only one exterior wall between. This switch has recently been through a rainstorm in Sacramento so severe that it made the national news and it still works fine. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the limited range

    This wifi outlet was easy to setup and actually worked with my router!

    A previous one I bought would not connect to my Google nest wifi (which has one network that can be 2.4 or 5 ghz but the user does not get to select).
    This one the all right away picked up the outlet and the network.
    Setup took minutes and now I can activate my emergency pump when I am not home if I need it.
    It's not the most attractive looking box but it serves it's purpose (it might not look great in a high traffic area of your house however).

    Thus far it seems to stabily and reliably stay connected to our wifi (even if we need to reset the system).

    No complaints here!!

    I have a lot of different smart devices in my home, both Google- and Amazon-compliant. I have found that Geeni products work with both Alexa and Google without issue. Setup takes seconds (since I already have the app installed, and a large base of Geeni devices already operational) and it seems like the interface has only grown more seamless between the latest Geeni products, and my Echo Dot and Google Home devices.
    In fact, I no longer buy any smart bulbs, switches, or plugs except the Geeni brand, because I know I can rely on them to just...work.
    As for this particular product, it was just what I was looking for to control the Christmas lights in front of my house, without having to worry the weather would fry a lesser device. It's solid, seems very durable, and will definitely be part of all of my outdoor decorating from here on out. No more playing around with clunky timers; this not only allowed me to set up a schedule, but because of Alexa/Google integration, also allows me to control them directly from the comfort of my cozy chair in front of my fireplace, just by telling Alexa or Google I want them on or off.
    It's basically all you could hope for from this type of plug.

    I just wanted a wi/fi enabled on off switch and this has done the job. I do not use the timer function so can’t comment on that. Quick and easy setup but keep in mind that you have to set your phone to 2.4 doesn’t work on 5g. Not an issue for me but may be for some.

    This works awesome. It took a minute to connect but once I figured it out no problem and haven't had a problem since.I'm able to control this smart plug from my phone I have it paired up with a yolink temperature sensor so I can keep an eye on the temperature for the water closet underneath my mobile home and I can turn this on which controls a light bulb and heat tape and I can get the temperature up to 50 to 60° when it's below freezing this plug is heavy duty and is capable of running a pump for a pond fountain. Highly recommend This Smart plug. Also you don't need a hub and they have a lot of products available as well so you can get a multitude of other things including security cameras, light bulbs smart plugs etc. I love the fact that I can turn this on from wherever I may be to prevent any issues with my plumbing in the frigid temperatures.

    Outlet works but cannot be controlled with WiFi. It will not connect. I have tried everything and I mean everything to get this to work with the app. It will not work. Contacted the company. I sat on hold for 45 minutes before someone answered then we were disconnected. I sent an email and got a ticket number but never a follow up or a resolution. I believe many of the responses are automatic such “have you tried this” or “check the FAQs”.
    This plug will not connect.
    I bought another just like it through a different distributor and it works fine. I needed this outlet and I needed everything to work together with my app so my options were limited.
    The second plug works but the first still does not. The second plug connected and meets my needs. I guess I got a dud the first time.
