We were due for a tent upgrade and I painstakingly researched tents. I was at a loss for awhile. We wanted an 8 person tent. Our current is for 6 and barely fit four (two adults, two kids). I was looking at variety of Coleman tents and this tent. Most of Rei and north face were too small, so those were out of consideration. I researched about Coleman and Eureka and found they’re both popular and similar though Eureka is higher quality. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I did want a tent with the pop open door and maybe an enclosed porch but decided I’d rather have higher quality than those features. Also the latter would increase the size of an already big tent.
We received the tent, put it up for practice and took a look around. I feel very validated and impressed already. It was relatively easy to put together, sturdy, and the features were nice, easy, and useful. It feels roomy, lots of space. There’s lots of little touches and they’re nice - the spot for power connection, the doors, windows, ties. Overall so happy and will update when we use on our first camping trip with it!
