I'll go through the cons first:
So I just received this printer and have already printed a few pictures. For me, the app has been a little annoying because I am trying to print a lot of pictures that are already on my phone from a while back. When doing so, I need to go back and forth from reconnecting from my home wifi to the instax printer wifi for basically every picture. When I take a picture straight on the app, I don't seem to be having the connection issue and it prints right away.
Another con (or I guess suggestion): unfiltered photos/or those light on the filtered side show up better than heavily filtered photos. The app has its own filter it applies to pictures (this feature can be turned off if you choose) so because of this, I suggest printing the original picture. For example if you use the huji app to take pics, those came out super dark when I printed them so I don't recommend printing that style.
However despite the 2 negative comments, I absolutely will still give this printer 5 stars. The pictures are beautiful and have such a nostalgic feel. It's not a hard device to use. I've literally had it for about 30 mins and I absolutely adore this product. I'm sure I'll figure out the kinks as I keep using it but if you don't mind wasting a few exposures just to figure it out, I think it's definitely worth every penny!

Man, what an amazing little printer this is. I’ve always wanted to jump into the instant photo craze but was hesitant because the newer cameras weren’t that good. I grew up with the original polaroids and we had a decent camera. The first batch of instant camera films of the last 10 years were just alright IMO. Anyway, I waited till they released a good printer that had the similar square format I grew up with. Yeah it’s smaller in size but for me, the size is just right. I prefer them to the larger size photos of the 80’s because they take up less space and aren’t too small where you have to squint. Best of all, you can format your pictures before hand and compose it just right to fill up the 2.5”x2.5” space you get. I haven’t had any bad looking images at all as other people have mentioned. Even with some of the bad reviews, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The photos look beautiful and best of all is the colors pop, the blacks are excellent, not perfect but excellent. If you feed the machine, nice, sharp photos, it’ll deliver a great print.

At first I wasn't sure it was worth buying. I had read mixed reviews about the printer and I wasn't really sure about the size of the pics since I have only ever used instax wide. However now that I have tried it I am happily convinced that it was a good purchase. It easily connects to my iPhone and printing goes smoothly. The printer's software is considerably simple and yet it features a couple of editing options. Don't expect your photos in hd though :)
Last but not least I think it will be easier to travel with the printer instead of the actual camera as it is quite compact in comparison and you can use your smart phone to take the pictures.

Después de tener durante un par de años únicamente el tamaño mini para imprimir, me encantó el cambio en el SP3 al formato cuadrado.
La calidad de la impresión me ha gustado, creo que los colores se ven más contrastantes que en el mini.
Hay dos cosas que no me gustan tanto, pero no han sido un dealbreaker para mí
1. La película es mucho más cara que la mini. Cuando sale mal una foto, me duele el codo el que se haya echado a perder 1.
2. El tamaño de la impresora no es tan práctica, sobre todo por la forma angular que tiene, la hace más ancha de lo necesario, por lo que cargarla en mi bolsa ya no es tan fácil como la SP2.

Original entry on Oct 21/20: Unfortunately, I've received a defective printer. A verticle line is printed across my photo. My brand new pack of the film just went to waste... So disappointed! I've requested an exchange with a new pack of film. I will come back to update/revise my review once I received a working printer + a new pack of film. Stay tuned.
