The Wyze Cam v3 is the 3rd generation of Wyze’s flagship camera, the Wyze Cam v2. Like its predecessor, the Wyze Cam v3 lets you see and record 1080p video right from the Wyze mobile app. New to the Wyze Cam v3 is its water-resistant design allowing for outdoor installation with an IP65 rating. The Wyze Cam v3 also takes advantage of an all-new Starlight Sensor which allows for extreme low-light performance and shows great detail in the dark. With the Wyze Cam v3's color night vision, night time video recording appears as if it’s day time.

Record night time video in full, vivid color in environments up to 25x darker than traditional cameras.
Indoor/Outdoor (IP65)
The Wyze Cam v3 is a wired water-resistant, video camera that you can confidently install outside in the rain or inside in the kids’ room.
Motion & Sound detection
The Wyze Cam v3 records video when motion & sound are detected and sends an alert to your phone. Motion Detection Zones let you adjust the sensitivity of detection.
Two-way audio
Greet and speak with visitors with loud two-way audio. The Wyze Cam v3 also has a siren button you can press to scare off unwanted guests.
24/7 Continuous Recording
Continuous video recording with a 32GB MicroSD card (sold separately). Just insert the MicroSD into the base of the Wyze Cam and you’re all set.

Q: QuestionWill this work with 5g Wi-Fi and is there a monthly fee?(2 answers)
A: AnswerThese (the v3), require a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi channel. Nearly all modern modems, Wi-Fi meshes etc automatically switch. So even if you have 5ghz, chances are you also have 2.4 and didn’t know. This camera can be used with no monthly fee. This is the last camera from Wyze that has person detection for free as well. You have to sign up for “Cam Plus Lite” on the website, you name your own price (you can enter $0), then in the app, go to account > services > cam plus lite (tab on the top), then add the camera. They are great cameras, have been using v3’s since they launched with no real issues. Mine have also been exposed to intense snow and heat etc.Answered by FYCTroy
- A: AnswerYes, you can. Just put the cameras into a group. Tap the plus sign in the upper left corner then select "Add Device Group', Select Camera Group , give the group a name and then pick the cameras to use from the list. From then on, when you select the group you will see a split screen showing all the cams in the group.

- A: AnswerA 32gb card will record 24/7 for around 2 days continuously in HD, or 7 days in the lower resolution SD. The bigger the card, the more days of continuous recording you get. They can handle up to a 256gb card

A: AnswerHi there, the camera Wyze Cam v3 will work if placed near a window. Motion detection feature works through glass, like a window or door, during the day. The camera uses changes in the pixels of the image to detect motion, so it can sense motion through glass. However, the night vision feature through glass or a window at night is not optimal. The camera emits 850nm infrared lights, which will be reflected by the window at night. The image will not be great in this situation, so it is not recommended. During the day, the infrared lights are not necessary and therefore there are no reflection issues. Also, we do have an accessory which is the Wyze Cam v3 window mount, where in you can mount your cam on a glass surface with this accessory and have a clear view free of glare or reflection. A: AnswerNo, requires a wall plug, or usb power source. Wyze does make the “Outdoor Cam”, which has a battery in it that can be recharged, or kept charged via solar. I’d look into the features on that camera, seems like it may be what you are looking for.Answered by FYCTroy

A: AnswerIt’s possible, but honestly, I’m not sure of that. Customer Service can better answer that question. But with the camera you have to download the app. And once you sync the app with the cameras, you can remotely monitor that camera as long as it’s on a Wi-Fi I believe.Answered by JohnWick357

Excellent Cams!
I was surprised by the value of this 2-pack cam set. Paid $35 for both and installation was a breeze. They are of great quality and have a very clear image. Night vision blew me away! Best I've seen thus far for a camera in this price range. I replaced my blink cameras with these Wyze cameras and couldn't be happier. The bonus here is that it has an SD Card slot which records footage without the need for a monthly subcription! I would definitely buy more when on sale again.

Good cameras
Bought these to watch my dogs while i'm at work. Camera's work good, lag sometimes. The picture quality is good. You DO have to pay if you want to rewind and watch older footage.

Great cameras for the price
I really like these cameras, i have them set-up to so i can check on my dogs while I am away. The night vision works in black and white, daytime is in color.
