Gallery: Apple’s 5th-generation iPod Touch gains camera flash, color splash

Full Coverage From Apple's 9/12 iPhone 5 Launch Event The iconic iPod may have been on the back burner for some time, but on Wednesday Apple finally unveiled an all-new iPod Touch lineup. Sporting a larger, 4-inch screen (identical to the new iPhone 5), an improved camera with flash, and an optional wrist strap, this marks a serious attempt by Apple to position the iPod Touch squarely against consumer point-and-shoot devices.

As before, the new iPod Touch is Wi-Fi only, but it benefits from the upgraded dual-band antenna that allows for wireless speeds of up to 150mbps. Bundled with the new EarPod earphones, the iPod Touch comes in 32GB and 64GB versions, five new colors, and is available to order on September 14.
