NewsGator Releases New Podcast Receiver

Called FeedStation, the new Podcast receiver will download audio and video files automatically to your favorite portable media player. Both NewsGator and FeedDemon will support the new Podcast audio and video files and let you store the content to your iPod, or any other portable media device that uses Windows Media Player or Apple iTunes.

One cool feature is that you can download and synchronize content from any location to your media player, just tell the download when to occur.

Nick Bradbury, Architect of Client Products at NewsGator, said, “This is the first step in expanding FeedDemon and FeedStation to NewsGator’s RSS platform, and I’m really excited by the possibilities. The way FeedStation integrates with NewsGator Online makes it incredibly easy to download podcasts to your favorite media player, and I’m hoping to see this enable more people to listen to the great content being created for this new medium.”

NewsGator is also teaming with Audible to deliver their audio content through a special offer.
