Hey Giuseppe, go get your checkbook! The Pagani Zonda Revolucion is the last of the Zondas

Pagani released the first Zonda model – believe it or not – back in 1999. What you see above will be the last of them. Yes, we’ve heard this before. But this time it’s true. We swear.

Underneath the stunning carbon fiber and titanium monocoque lies an 800 horsepower 6.0-liter V12 from Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division. Mated to the Italian-tuned German powerplant, and sending power to the rear wheels, is a six-speed sequential gearbox that has been shaped from magnesium.

Ensuring the power actually gets to the road is a Bosch traction control system with 12 different settings and a new ABS system. Pagani says these allow the driver to set the car up perfectly for his own driving style. Realistically though, it should just have two settings: “Over 60-years-old” and “Factory Technician,” because those are the only two kinds of people who will ever drive it.

Following in the footsteps of Formula 1, Pagani has fitted a Drag Reduction System (DRS) to the Zonda Revolucion. Included in the rear wing, the DRS – when engaged – will limit downforce, allowing for higher speeds.

Pagani says the Zonda Revolucion is the “ultimate experience for individuals who want to experience the thrill of an extreme track experience, in a safe and intuitive machine.”

What is the ultimate price for the ultimate supercar? $2.8-million, not including taxes. Quantities are limited so don’t delay, order yours soon.
