What once was $3,200 is now $2,500. The Alienware Aurora R16 is our top choice of the best gaming desktops and it’s now $700 off. It has a 4080 Super, 2TB of SSD storage, and 32GB of RAM, not to mention a gorgeous look to it that invokes the mental imagery of an under-the-water alien cultist research lab. If this is enough to count you as interested, go ahead and tap the button below to find the computer on sale. Otherwise, keep reading and we’ll dive into the details about why you should consider this desktop and what exactly put it so high on our list.

Why you should buy the Alienware Aurora R16

You should note that the configuration of the Alienware Aurora R16 on sale today is a sort of super version of the one covered in our Aurora R16 review, though most aspects are similar. One thing to note from the review, in particular, is that our reviewer found that “the Aurora R16 sacrifices very little by being a prebuilt.” This means that you don’t need to be a BIOS-understanding, static-electricity defying computer wizard to get a great final product. Its also worth pointing out just how good and reserved this PC looks, especially when compared to the overly bright and flashy competition. This PC looks fun, but it is also a step in the right direction maturity-wise. Finally, for the biggest difference between the review model and the one on sale, the graphics card, be sure to check out our RTX 4080 Super review, which covers that component specifically.

Once again, the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming desktop is usually $3,200, a number that can be hard to stomach. However, right now it is yours for just $2,500. That represents a savings of $700 or around 22% off, and it can be yours if you tap the button below. If that’s still too much for you, or you wish to shop the field a bit, please check out our gaming PC deals guide. It was updated just yesterday, is a fantastic piece of writing, and really works to guide you through the process of getting a gaming PC that you’ll be truly happy with.

Canva Code 2.0 just made vibe coding way less intimidating for everyone
Canva Code 2.0 feature

Coding used to be reserved for developers who spent years learning complex languages. That has slowly changed with vibe coding, which lets you build apps and websites using simple, plain-language prompts.

The problem is that most of these tools still feel intimidating for regular folks, as they still need to understand the code to make any meaningful changes. If not, everything you make tends to look the same.

Can AI audiobooks narrate better than humans? This study says many listeners think so
New study finds listeners favor AI narrated audiobooks over traditional human narration in blind testing.

You might assume most listeners would pick a real human voice over a synthetic one, but a new study says otherwise. Edison Research at SSRS surveyed 1,005 fiction audiobook fans in May 2026 for a study commissioned by AI audio company Spoken. The twist is that listeners rated the AI narration higher, and they did not even know it was AI until after they heard it (via Variety).
