“ATI’s inclusion in the NASDAQ-100 signals our company’s emergence as one of the leading innovation companies in the world,†said KY Ho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ATI. This achievement is testament to the hard work of the people at ATI who have built a world-leading visual processor company. “Through our team’s efforts, our visual processors have become the products of choice for every platform, from the PC to digital consumer markets of color cell phones, DTV and game consoles. The expansion of ATI’s position in PC markets and growth opportunities in new markets has enabled us to deliver revenue growth and strong financial performance.â€
The announcement comes at the end of a year in which ATI has led the PC graphics market in terms of performance and technology, begun shipping media co-processors in large volume to Motorola for its high-selling “triplets†phones, announced HDTV technology wins with companies including Samsung and Sony, and announced technology development contracts with Nintendo and Microsoft’s Xbox division.
