Most people probably think of Staples as the place you run to when you need to grab some office supplies like paper or printer ink in a hurry and can’t afford to wait for your online Amazon order to arrive by mail. And while Staples is indeed the go-to place for those last-minute top-ups on your work essentials, it’s now forced to compete more aggressively with other big retailers like Best Buy and Walmart when it comes to offering online deals on things such as computers, printers, and office furniture. The many Staples deals that are almost always on tap are an especially great boon to the many people who have joined the growing ranks of professionals working from home.

In other words, you should absolutely keep these Staples deals on your radar when you’re in need of some new tech (or other office equipment) and you’re on a budget. Staples carries everything from computers and monitors to iPads and AirPods — it’s not all suit-and-tie — with free delivery on a ton of items, including free next-day shipping on much of what’s in stock. Since Staples also has the benefit of running many brick-and-mortar retail locations around the country, delivery is generally pretty quick, and of course, you can always have your item shipped to your local store for pickup, which might be even faster. If it’s in stock at a nearby Staples, you can even order it online to reserve it and then go pick it up at your leisure.

Best Dell laptop deals: Cheap laptops starting at $280
The Dell XPS 13 9315 on a table against a window.

Dell is easily one of the best laptop brands on the market, which is a good sign that if you grab a laptop from it, then you're likely to get something pretty excellent. Dell also has the XPS lineup, which is not only one of the best laptops on the market but competes with the likes of the MacBook Air in terms of size, price, and specs.

HP Dragonfly Pro front angled view showing display and keyboard deck.

Laptop deals with discounts of more than 50% are very capable of attracting the attention of shoppers, but not all of them are worth it. B&H's offer for the HP Dragonfly Pro will be worth it though, with the device's price all the way down to $619 following a $780 discount on its original price of $1,399. The savings are planned to remain online until October 30, but because of the limited supply for this bargain, we're not sure if it will stay available that long. If you want to get this laptop for less than half-price, we highly recommend making the purchase as soon as you can.

Why you should buy the HP Dragonfly Pro laptop
The specifications of the HP Dragonfly Pro give it enough to challenge the performance of the best laptops. It's equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7736U processor and integrated AMD Radeon 680M Graphics, alongside 16GB of RAM that our guide on how much RAM do you need says is on the level of top-tier devices. The laptop also ships with a 512GB SSD for ample storage, and it comes with Windows 11 Home pre-loaded. Its 14-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate may be somewhat disappointing, but for productivity-focused people who don't need extreme sharpness and very realistic colors, the display will be good enough.

Best Dell XPS deals: Save on Dell XPS 13, Dell XPS 15 and Dell XPS 16
Dell XPS 15 OLED on a table.

If you're looking for a thin and light laptop that isn't a MacBook Air, then you may want to consider Dell's XPS lineup. It's just recently been renewed with a new size and new configurations, and while we did lose the 17-inch version, you can still get them starting at 13 inches and going all the way up to 16 inches. On top of that, these are pretty powerful, as you'd expect from one of the best laptop brands on the market, and some configurations even have powerful GPUs like the RTX 4070.

Of course, given that these are pricey machines, going for a deal is probably the way to go, which is why we've collected some of our favorite deals below. That said, if you can't quite find what you're looking for, be sure to check out these Dell laptop deals and our roundup of the best laptop deals for some non-Dell options.
