Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, set for release on September 19, is one of this year’s most anticipated fighting games. I mean, just look at the name. It has Marvel. And Capcom!

This is your chance to get a first look at the game, as we sort through Digital Trend’s best and worst fighting talent in a single-elimination tournament. The action starts at 3 p.m. Pacific.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released on September 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

The Windows operating system has several built-in and program-associated methods for typing or pulling up the em dash into a word processor or text box. However, macOS is well known for having a system integrated methods of accessing the em dash -- some you may know and some that might not be as obvious.
Keyboard
Apple has made inserting an em dash into your text very simple with a keyboard shortcut. Press the Shift (⇧) + Option (⌥) + Minus (-) keys on your keyboard, and the em dash will appear in your word processor or text box automatically.

Some Intel CPUs lost 9% of their performance almost overnight

Over the past few weeks, we've seen an increasing number of reports of instability on high-end Intel CPUs like the Core i9-14900K. Asus has released a BIOS update for its Z790 motherboards aimed at addressing the problem, but it carries a performance loss of upwards of 9% in some workloads.

The most recent BIOS update from Asus includes the Intel Baseline Profile. This profile disables various optimizations that are automatically applied on Asus Z790 motherboards and runs high-end Intel chips within Intel's specific limits. Hardwareluxx tested the new profile with the Core i9-14900K and found that the CPU ran around 9% slower in multiple tests.
