Netflix testing a new web interface that is just for kids

Netflix Kids UI TestNow your children don’t have to suffer because you decided to cancel your cable. Netflix is testing out a new kid friendly interface to help kids find the shows they want to watch. The images show a drastically more fun and visual interface. To access the page you would select the just for kids tab at the top of the page and you will be able to see all of the watch instantly options.

Of course you won’t find Mad Men in this area of the website, but you will find Dora, Hello Kitty, and Shawn the Sheep. When you enter the kids section the website removes almost all of the written descriptions of the shows, and focuses on the characters. You will see a row of main characters at the top of the screen which you can scroll through to pick who you want to watch. Once you select your show of choice you will be able to select what show or movie featuring that character you would like to watch.  This new interface could be a great way for kids who still don’t know how to read to have access to their favorite shows just through clicking on their favorite character.

Netflix Kids UI TestThe new interface is only available for the service’s watch instantly titles, so you will not be able to rent physical discs using this page. With over 75 percent of new customers opting for streaming only it is understandable that Netflix would focus on that audience.

We can see this more visual option also working on adults as well. We would love to be able to scroll through pictures of our favorite action stars to help us select exactly which movie to watch.

Best GPU deals: MSI, XFX, EVGA
An AMD graphics card in an external GPU enclosure.

If you're building a new PC from scratch, or upgrading an old one, then a new GPU is probably one of the biggest upgrades you can make, at least if you're looking for great gaming performance. Unfortunately, the last generation of RTX 40-series cards really amped the prices up, and even if you're going for AMD, you're going to be paying a pretty penny to get your hands on a good GPU. That said, there are some good deals to be had; whether you want something budget-friendly or high-end, you can always put that extra money you save into more RAM or a better CPU. Also, be sure to check out some of these gaming PC deals if you'd rather just grab something already pre-built.
MSI AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT Mech 2X 4GB GDDR6 -- $175, was $190

If you're looking for something that is ultra-budget, then this RX 6500 XT is a good option in the lower range and should let you handle at least some of the main free-to-play games like CS:GO and Rocket League, although you will have to play with graphical compromises. It should also handle indie and casual games, especially older ones like the ones you might find on emulators, so it's also a good option for that sort of budget build. the 4GB of VRAM is not a lot, but again, if you're not planning to play any modern AAA or AA games, then this isn't a bad option.
