Do you want to turn your AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU into Nvidia's flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti? Well, that might actually be impossible, but a developer claims that this new third-party tool will effectively do just that.

Through clever voltage and frequency modifications, the developer was able to boost the frequency of the RX 6800 XT by a considerable amount. But can these claims be trusted?

AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT vs. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070

AMD is refreshing its RX 6000 graphics cards, which launched a year and a half ago in November 2020. Between the RX 6650 XT and the RX 6950 XT, we have the new RX 6750 XT, the replacement for the RX 6700 XT that launched in March 2021. This upper mid range GPU is positioned against Nvidia's RTX 3070, so we threw both of them into the ring to see how they stack up.

The RX 6750 XT hasn't launched yet, so we are relying on AMD's benchmarks at the moment. Although AMD isn't lying, it definitely wants to show this GPU in a positive light against the best graphics cards.

AMD RDNA 2 refresh may compete with Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti

The first synthetic benchmarks of the upcoming AMD RDNA 2 graphics cards have just leaked, and some of the tests look very promising for AMD.

According to these benchmarks, the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT may be able to compete against the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
