Phantom Technologies, a maker of Internet security products, today announced the availability of their iBoss Internet activity control device. Priced at $119.95, it can be purchased through Phantom’s website or over the phone.
The iBoss, Phantom Technologies said, “works through a Web browser where users can block categories of Web sites, schedule the use of online games, chats, download files and block any unwanted online activity or communication.†It can notify users when someone has powered it down, details logs of activities on the network including time and attempted violations and requires no software installation.
“Our uncomplicated hardware device covers an entire network without having to install any software at all,†said Phantom Technologies designer and CEO Paul Martini. “Our team of tech experts brainstormed and spent many hours designing iBoss to be a simple security device that makes Internet use safer and far more efficient. What’s more, it is available to all Internet users, not just large companies. It’s going to change the way predators and scammers can access the Internet and make homes and small businesses safer on the Internet.â€
