Sonos Announces New Bundle Deal

Sonos, a developer of wireless multi-room music systems, today announced a new bundled package to entice more users to try out their version of the wireless, digital home. The new ZP80 Bundle is priced at $999 and is available now.

The Sonos ZP80 Bundle, said Sonos, includes two ZonePlayer 80s and a Sonos Controller. The ZonePlayer80s are connected to any amplified audio device via auto-sensing line-in connectors which can digitally encode any in-line source and work to bring that device into a wireless, multi-room digital music system. Aspects of the wireless music network can be controlled via the color remote Sonos Controller.

“Music lovers have often asked Sonos to help them connect the stereo they love to our award-winning digital music system,” said John MacFarlane, founder and chief executive officer, Sonos, in a statement. “With the ZP80 Bundle that’s now possible — and all for just $999.”

A friend of mine who works in games design recently showed me a 3D model of the Earth, rendered in great detail using topographically accurate satellite data, so that we could soar through canyons and our respective neighborhoods at high speed like a pair of joyriding Supermen. “Let’s see if we can go underwater,” he said, exhilarated, as we flew out over the Pacific.

We couldn’t. The model, so stunningly accurate on land, apparently had zero data with which to model the undersea environment. It was an unrendered void beneath the water’s glassy surface, as if this was some subaquatic version of The Truman Show, and we had reached the end of the world.

How to choose a drone during Cyber Week
There are tons of different types, brands, and prices of drones out there. So how do you know which one to choose? When selecting the best drone for your needs, you'll want to look at factors like video resolution and frames per second, extra features like video stabilization and obstacle avoidance, and also the weight of the drone. More high-end drones will not only capture better-quality video, but they'll also be easier to control in the air, thanks to intelligent environmental sensors and more accurate inputs. This is especially important on days when it is windy and the weather is poor, as it will be harder to control a drone in these conditions. So think about what you want to use your drone for and whether you'll be at the mercy of the weather when you're flying your new drone.
