If only there was a scheduling app that worked better than writing reminders on your hand.
Of course there is. In fact there are dozens to choose from, but a new one called Timeful may be just what procrastinators really need. Timeful works to get your life in order by learning your routine, and then schedules things for you depending on your calendar, what you like to do, and most importantly, your habits. That’s the key, the developers at Timeful claim, and their app takes a novel approach to creating a habit of getting stuff done in a timely manner.
You put in what you want to do and how long you want to do it, and Timeful finds the time for you – again and again. It’s only available for iPhone users right now, but in time, it will come to Android and also as a web-based service. Read the full story.
SpaceX and Tesla boss Elon Musk’s plan for world domination is proceeding apace: he’s just inked a deal with Panasonic to build a giant ‘gigafactory’ to produce batteries for his growing line of popular electric cars.
Panasonic will occupy half of the giant facility, with Tesla and some other vendors taking up the rest of the space. Musk said he is building the facility because his cars will need huge amounts of batteries the present market can’t deliver. Panasonic brings both R&D and advanced battery-making processes to the deal, so it looks like a perfect fit.
Musk has hinted he may build more than one giant battery plant, and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if he did. And here’s an update.
Buzz is building around the November release of Interstellar, the next sci-fi epic from talented writer, producer and director Christopher Nolan, who gave us brain-melters like Momento and Inception, along with box office winners Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises.
But Nolan is also a cagey promoter, and visitors to the seemingly simple Interstellar website have been tinkering with its mysteries, including its rotational home screen and cryptic messages. But on Wednesday, an “access code” entry line popped up and if you could figure out the digits, you got to see a new trailer for the film which revealed some of the distant worlds Nolan will take us to in the film.
The story revolves around Mathhew McConahey’s every-man astronaut character, who is on a mission with Anne Hathaway and Michael Cain to save what’s left of humanity on a dying, near-future Earth. Wormholes and galactic adventures ensue. We’ve cracked the code, so if you want to check out the Interstellar site and see the new trailer, just go here.
