Science fiction lovers often rank the seminal 1982 film Blade Runner as one of the best of the genre, and for good reason. Now comes word from Variety that star Harrison Ford is on board for the sequel, and it’s going to be helmed by Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve. There are no details yet about the story, except to say it takes place decades after the original story’s 2019 timeline.
