Latest Apple iMac prices slashed at Amazon for Black Friday

Now that it is officially here, are you looking for some hot Black Friday deals on all-in-one computers or additional Black Friday Apple deals? The Apple iMac is one of the best all-in-ones you can buy right now, and Amazon Black Friday deals are slashing the prices on them. Both the higher-end 5K iMac, as well as the entry-level model of the popular all-in-one desktop are now on sale, saving you a total of up $150 at checkout.

The first iMac covered in this sale the entry-level model with the standard 21.5 inch 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display, as well as 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. Usually retailing for $1,100, Amazon’s sale brings it down $1,000. For a savings of 9%, that’s cheaper than Apple’s own price at the Apple Store.

Even if you elect this entry-level iMac, you’ll enjoy it. It has a speedy seventh-generation dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, as well as SSD storage (and not the traditional slower hard drive.) This should mean you’ll be able to enjoy web browsing, and general office work, too. Connectivity is also great, including two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, and four USB-A ports, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet port. Since these are on the back of the machine, you’ll be able to hide the cables away.

The second sale, meanwhile, brings the price of the higher-end 27-inch 5K resolution iMac down from $1,800 to $1,500 at checkout. A bigger savings for a better model, that’s still cheaper than Apple’s suggested price of $1,800.

We especially enjoy the top-end 5K iMac, too, as it sports a stunning screen for clear-images and sharp text. Not to mention, the 5K iMac features options for Intel’s new 10th-generation six- and eight-core processors and AMD Radeon Pro 5300 graphics for video editing or gaming. There’s even an option for Intel’s 10th-generation Core i9 10-core processor for optimal performance.

Regardless of which model you choose, the iMac will be quite enjoyable for an all-in-one computer. In our review of the Apple iMac with Retina 5K, we really loved it for its familiar stylish design, gap-free front panel, and rounded corners that complement the glass-and-aluminum build.

More Mac deals available now

Of course, the iMac is not the only Apple product on sale during Black Friday. There are also Black Friday MacBook deals, too. You can see some of these below.

Both the App Store and the Play Store are packed with apps that promise to revolutionize the way we communicate. Most of them didn't make it. The truth is, a messaging app is only as good as the number of people using it, and most apps never cross that threshold.
