Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 — $109, was $139

With a $30 savings, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is even more of a bargain than usual. As the name suggests, you get an 8-inch display combined with dual speakers with both being ideal if you want to watch your favorite shows while on the move. It has a minimized bezel so you won’t be distracted by the exterior and it’s comfortable to hold onto. With Android 9.0 already installed, you can easily download all your favorite apps as well as play plenty of games from the Google Play Store. With an up to 13-hour battery life, you won’t need to worry about recharging it throughout the day either which is sure to be useful if you take it out and about. Finally, there’s 32GB of built-in storage with the option of adding up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Apple iPad Mini — $379, was $399

If you’re more of an Apple fan and can stretch your budget further than the Apple iPad Mini is the one for you. Reduced to $379 at Amazon, you get a 7.9-inch Retina display with True Tone and wide color for a superior picture. There’s an A12 Bionic chip processor along with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, 8MP back camera, and 7MP FaceTime HD front camera. Thanks to all that power, battery life is a little shorter than the Samsung tablet but it’s still a highly respectable 10 hours which should be good for all-day use. This time around, there’s 64GB of storage too although you can’t expand it at a later date. It’s an ideal introduction to the world of iPads or a neat upgrade from an older iPad.

How to get the Samsung Galaxy S23 for free
The newest generation of Samsung's flagship phone offers a lot of new and upgraded features. We loved the Galaxy S23 and S23+ in our pre-launch hands-on review. On paper they've only gotten a slight upgrade in specs, but once they're in your hand, they impress. The biggest upgrade comes in the form of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which gives the phone a snappier response and allows you to use more apps at once without dragging the phone down. Unfortunately there isn't currently a way to get the S23 Ultra for free, so we won't dive into that phone. Suffice it to say the S23 Ultra is also an impressive device.

If you've decided you want the S23 or S23+, or if 'free' is just too good a price to pass up, read on for your best options.
