Apple MacBook Air at new cheapest-ever price for Cyber Monday

Digital Trends

The Cyber Monday sales have officially started, and there are a lot of Cyber Monday laptop deals to go around if you’re looking to buy a new MacBook for yourself or someone else. With the latest round of Amazon Cyber Monday deals, you can save on the Apple MacBook Air, and get it at one of its cheapest prices ever.

Usually selling for $1,000, this latest sale is bringing the price of the MacBook Air down from $1,000 to $800. That’s a savings of over $200, or 20%. For this new low price, you’re getting a MacBook Air configured with 8GB of RAM, a 13-inch display, and 256GB of solid-state drive storage. Please note, though, this model is not to be confused with the newest M1 MacBook Air, which isn’t on sale and starts at $1,000.

Still, this Intel-based MacBook Air is still a great machine. Under the hood of the laptop is the 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor. As we found in our MacBook Air review, this processor option means this laptop is really good for web browsing, as well as its overall day-to-day performance for college, and even freelance work.

This MacBook Air also features Apple’s new redesigned Magic Keyboard, too, which is responsive and clicky and poses fewer issues than the older butterfly keyboard. Of course, the trackpad is also larger than on older MacBook Air models too. This leaves you more room for gestures when swiping through webpages. Not to mention, the TouchID sensor, which helps make logins and payments more secure as you shop online. Improved speakers and a three-microphone array are also other features on the iMac, too, to help you during your Zoom and FaceTime calls.

Compared to Apple’s other MacBooks, this is one of the thinnest and lightest Macs you can buy. It is plenty portable at just 0.6 inches thick and 2.8 pounds. Which means, it compares closely to Windows laptops, like the XPS 13, as well as the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. This all means the MacBook Air is the perfect travel companion, no matter where you go, or how you work or school.

More MacBook deals available now

There are plenty of Apple Cyber Monday deals this year including many other Cyber Monday MacBook deals going on, too. We have a selection below, which will be kept updated throughout the day.

If you’ve been waiting for the chance to upgrade to the new Apple 2023 MacBook Air with M2, now is the time to do it. It has dropped from $1,299 to $1,202 for extra savings of almost $100 below the normal list price. It is not as much as the December weekend flash deal, which was featured during holiday sales and gave you $200 off the total price. However, this Apple deal gives you an opportunity to seize upon extra savings outside the holiday season so you can get your hands on the 2023 Apple Air M2. Choose from Starlight, Silver, or Space Gray to get the discount; you will pay more for the Midnight color. There are no coupon codes to remember, either; the discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Why you should buy the Apple 2023 MacBook Air with M2
It’s still a good time to buy an M2 MacBook Air, especially with Amazon’s super sale. Apple’s M3 chip is still not available, and there are no plans for release beyond the MacBook Pro and Mac mini. Meanwhile, the MacBook Air makes excellent use of the M2 chip with a new, generous 15.3-inch screen that is a considerable step up from previous models with a Liquid Retina display with True Tone. It features a noticeably more streamlined look to the M2 over the M1, with an improved 1080p webcam for better video recordings and a longer battery life.
