Apple MagSafe 2 cables deal from Amazon for Black Friday 2020
Amazon/Apple

Black Friday is finally here, and if you need a new power cable for your MacBook Pro or MacBook Air you don’t have to wait any longer to get a great deal on one. Black Friday deals don’t just cover the big-ticket items like laptops, you can also power up your MacBooks with discounted power cables because Amazon has seen fit to include discounts on Apple power cables during today’s sale. Among all of the great Amazon Black Friday deals are these three really sweet deals on Apple MagSafe 2 power cables: A 60W MagSafe 2 power adapter, a 45W MagSafe 2 power adapter, and an 85W MagSafe 2 power adapter. Let’s take a closer look at what each deal has to offer.

Apple 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter (for MacBook Pro with 13-inch Retina display) — $52, was $85:

Apple 45W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter (for MacBook Air) — $72, was $79:

Apple 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter (for MacBook Pro with Retina display) — $54, was $79:

If you have 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina display, you can’t go wrong with Apple’s 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter which is on sale with a little over a $32 price cut (which includes an initial $31 discount and an additional $1.50 off at checkout). Without the deal, you’d have to spend $85 instead. It’s a bit of a no-brainer that you should snap this deal up while it lasts if you need a new power cable. The power cable itself is only compatible with 13-inch MacBook Pros that have a Retina display, and includes a gentle, easy-to-use magnetic connector to prevent accidents, and an LED light to give status updates.

MacBook Air owners with early 2014, early 2015, mid-2012, and mid-2013 models, may want to consider Amazon’s deal on this Apple 45W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter. It’s a modest $7 discount, and so you’ll be paying $72 instead of $79.  This adapter also boasts the same magnetic connector, so that tripping over the cable doesn’t result in knocking over your MacBook Air and damaging it.

And finally, if you own a MacBook Pro with a Retina display, you can get an Apple 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter from Amazon for Black Friday. This deal includes a $25 price cut and so you’ll end up paying $54 instead of the original list price of $79, which works out to a decent 32% discount. Since it’s from Apple, you can count on the fact that it too will include the helpful magnetic connector to keep your MacBook Pro safe. And even if you don’t need a replacement power adapter right now, at this price it would be worth it to get it now anyway, even as just a backup or just to keep one in your office.

Drawing with the Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro (2022).

With so many great Amazon Black Friday deals that happened yesterday, we're sad to see so many of them go, but luckily there's still a couple you can grab if you act quickly. For example, Amazon still has the 2nd gen Apple Pencil discounted from $129 to $89. That said, we don't know how long the deal will last, especially since we've already seen similar deal ends, so be sure to pull the trigger on this and any other remaining Black Friday iPad deals you like. We also encourage you not to wait for any potential Cyber Monday deals since we don't know if they'll be as good or if there will even be any deals on the 2nd gen Apple Pencil.

If you like to draw, sketch, paint, or take notes on your iPad, the second-generation Apple Pencil will be your favorite iPad accessory. This generation Apple Pencil is compatible with newer iPad models, including the 6th-generation iPad mini; the 4th and 5th generation iPad Air, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch; and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation iPad Pro 11-inch. You can also check which Apple Pencil works with which iPad.

Dell XPS 15 Black Friday deal that knocked $500 off is still available
Dell XPS 15 7590 review

Black Friday is officially over and Cyber Monday is just days away, and there are already tons of great Cyber Monday deals out there, including for the Dell XPS 15. This laptop, which usually starts at $1,899, is still down to just $1,399. That's $500 off! Plus, when you buy through Dell you'll get the shipping absolutely free, so no tricks on this deal, just a very modern laptop at a steep discount. This particular deal was a Black Friday deal that is still around even after that sale has ended. So there's no guarantee it'll stick around for much longer. In fact, over 40% of these discounted laptops have already been claimed, so you'll need to hurry if you want to snag one for yourself.

Why you should buy the Dell XPS 15
The Dell XPS 15 is ranked among the best 15-inch laptops in the world right now, and it isn't hard to see why. It's got a thin body that is easy to tuck into backpacks, large purses, and briefcases. But, within the thin shell is great power. With a 12th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with 16 GB of RAM, this isn't just a computer to buy because you want something to lug around with you. In fact, in Dell's own words, the Dell XPS 15 is a computer "created for creators" backed by Nvidia and Studio Drivers designed to boost Adobe and Autodesk performance.
